Met him over a year ago at one of his seminars. Nice surgeon, very informative and personable.

Dr. Terracina is a truly caring surgeon. He took the time to sit down after my surgery and explain everything to my family. He made sure I knew how to take care of myself at home. He also allowed me to stay one extra night at the hospital so I could get my pain under control. He also has a 24 hour phone line where I can reach him or Dr. Clark (other surgeon) if you have questions. He is one of the best surgeons I have met, and his patients recover quickly and rarely have complications.

Dr. Terracina is very professional, competent and has a great bed side manner. The office staff at his office is very helpful any time you call or have a question. Dr. Terracina is very helpful when it comes to asking questions about aftercare. The web site that is offered to the patients after surgery is a BIG help. It really helps you keep everything in order so you can achieve your goal with ease. You can't go wrong with Dr. Terrcina! He has been doing this for many years and has had a lot of successful patients. Just listen to his instructions, go to your fills and watch what you eat. It's simple really!

Dr. T knows his stuff. I always felt safe and comfortable. I felt no judgment, only sympathy and understanding. He's a pro and the fact that he does the surgery lappy made him my number one pick. I just thank god that I got my first pick. Thanks Dr. T, I owe you 161 times.

After traveling 7,000 miles to meet my surgeon and his office staff, I can say, \"It was well worth the trip.\" The seminar he presented on WLS was informative and to the point. He didn't favor one above the other and had us understand that it was our decision on which surgery we elected. Most importantly, he enforced that WLS is only a tool, not the end all, be all. rnrnI'm looking forward to meeting him again in April and God willing my insurance approves my request, have surgery at that time.

I feel like a number....not a personrnrnThe office environment however, leaves a lot to be desired. I think they have way more patients than they can handle and so I ended up feeling like a number not a person. It was all a little disorganized and frustrating for me. I dont think this was intentional but, just didnt get a warm fuzzy. rnrnThe nutritionist was GREAT. Very helpful and friendly.

When I first met Dr Terracina I got a really good vibe from hm. He was very informative and I loved that he seemed to be \"on top of his game\". It was also great that he ONLY focuses on WLS, he does not perform any other procedures. He spoke about the history of the band and also discussed what was new and in the works! I myself feel more comfortable with a doctor who stays updated with whats going on in their field. He made a point to talk about all risks involved with the surgery so I felt at ease that I would have no surprises. When he spoke about aftercare he took the time to answer all of my questions efficiently. He stressed that if ANYTHING felt funny or I had any concerns to call him. To me both surgical competence and bedside manner are extremely important, I feel as though Dr. Terracina excelled in both. My surgery was a bit more complicated because of liver issues and I love that my surgeon went above and beyond to complete my weight loss surgery, without putting me at any added risk, because he knew (and stated) that weight-loss will be a HUGE part of living a healthier life that will hopefully improve other medical problems I have. Dr Terracina has always been enthusiastic and friendly and overall I would recommend him as a surgeon! His staff at the WLSC are awesome, and always helpful. Just know that if you decide that to have a WLS procedure that Dr Terracina is definitely a surgeon to choose with confidence.

So what can I say about Dr. Terracina? If any of you out there had him you would now that there isn't anything bad that you can say about him. I took to him the minute I met him. and as time went by he became more of a doctor I trusted compleatly. Which is very important when you are going under the knife or scope. The staff was great and the nurses at the hospital where also good. Not much pain to talk about. If I had to do it again with Dr.T I would do it in a heart beat...... He gave me back my life. PS he also has a great bed side manner.

I highly recommend this practitioner. Dr. Terracina was knowledgeable & enthusiastic at the initial Lap-Band seminar. The office staff & clinic nurses were courteous and helpful, if slow to return calls post-op. One-on-one, Dr. T took plenty of time to address my concerns and was supportive, direct and never insensitive. He was positive and forthright on the day of my surgery; even counseling my husband after the operation was completed on how to be the most helpful in my long-term success. His bedside manner was both reassuring and encouraging. Regarding surgical competence, I’m only a week out and would prefer to withhold judgment for fear of jinxing the smooth recovery I’m having so far! :-D
