I have only met with Dr. Terracina once but was real impressed and had heard many good comments about him. I have one more meeting with him before surgery so I will post more about him later. His office staff especially Terri were great, giving 150% of her time and knowledge and made everything much easier for me.

He was very friendly. Very nice.
Very Cute too. Takes alot of time with you.
The office staff is wonderful.I wish he had given me this website before the surgery not 2 weeks after. He's a great doctor. They give you all the info you need for care at home. He did not tell me of the risks...but I didn't ask either. I would rate him a A+
Bedside manner is the very important, but also I would want the best surgeon. He is great at both.

I would recommend Dr. Terracina to anyone/everyone. One thing that truly impressed me with Dr. T was that he stresses the importance of a structured aftercare program. There is a support group in P.C. that meets once a month and he feels it is important for himself to be there so he, first-hand, can answer anyones questions or concerns. I think that says alot about how he wants his patients to succeed with this surgery instead of him getting paid for the "job" and then forgetting about the patient. Dr. Terracina is the kind of doctor that when you meet, you feel comftorable with and therefore, have an open line of communication with throughout the entire process. I rate Dr. Terracina a perfect 10!

The first thing I thought when I met Dr. Terracina was "Oh God, of all the people to have to discuss this fat body with, why did he have to be so young, slender and good looking?!?". He was wonderful from the start. Everything you could ask for in a Dr. He took his time to explain everything and answered all my questions. He has an excellent reputation and was hightly recommended.

DR.T IS A VERY PLEASANT MAN, VERY SMALL IN STATURE AND I WONDER WHY HE WOULD CHOOSE THIS WLS AS ONE OF HIS SPECIALTIES, HE SEEMS VERY CARING AND ATTENTIVE AND HAS PERFORMED THE SURGERY FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS, NOW SCHEDULING AS MANY AS TWENTY PER MONTH. HE CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY THE GROUP OF MD'S I WORK FOR.
THE STAFF IS JUST AS NICE AS HE IS. TERRI, THE WLS NURSE IS VERY BUSY SO IT IS NO WONDER SHE CAN NOT GET EVERYTHING DONE THE DAY IT IS BROUGHT IN. BUT SHE IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE IN REGARDS TO INSURANCE AND REQUIREMENTS AND WILL HELP ANY WAY SHE CAN.
ITHEY DO HAVE AN AFTERCARE PROGRAM, BUT I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH IT YET.

Dr. Terracina is a straight forward Doctor. He is kind and understanding and very good at his profession. His staff are all very patient and do their best to answer any and all questions. The only concern I had was that two days after my surgery He went on vacation and I was in the hands of a Doctor I had never met. I was very fortunate in that I had no complications and went home after 4 days. I felt he answered all my questions about the surgery and I was imformed when I went into surgery. I had and still have the utmost confidence in him.

He is a very good doctor with genuine concern.

I I have a great respect for him.

They are extremely helpful and resourceful especially when it comes to getting approval.

Nothing.

He is patient and willing to answer all questions.

He gave me this website to get aftercare support.

There is a support group that meets once a month.

He failed to completely explain why I would need to be cut open instead of the surgery being completely laposcoply.

An A-

Both are equally important to me.

I really do like Dr. Terracina he is very nice, explains everything, will answer questions and he isn't in a big hurry so you don't feel like he was in there and out so quick I couldn't ask anything, and he ain't bad looking neither, his staff is real nice,he is very helpful in giving you information and websites that are good before and after surgery and also the support group that meets for the one's that have had the surgery or wanting to have it, you do have to have all the paperworkin before you can see him, the nutrionist, and psycologist, and a letter from a doctor, a letter also from you to the insurance company. He does explain about the different kind of procedures and the difference between them, and why he thinks this procedure is the best. My appointment was sept. 3,2002 I will update when I hear from the insurance company (BluecrossBlueshield of Fl)I hear they are tough to get approval. I give Dr. Terracina a big 10.

Dr. Terracina is a greatly respected doctor here in town. Until recently he was the only one doing this type of surgery in Panama City. Terri is wonderful. She is the girl at his office who does all the scheduling (nutritionist, psychiatrist, calling the insurance company, etc). She is a bit overworked, but if you work with her, then between the two of you, you can both get everything accomplished regarding surgery. Dr. Terracina is a young, brilliant physician, who is up-to-date on all the latest technology regarding surgery and I had no doubts that he would do a wonderful job with he surgery! Dr. Terracina is so sought after here to do the surgery that one of his partners, whom has been helping assist with the surgery already, has joined Dr. Terracina in doing the surgery together as a team so they may be able to facilitate everyone who wants the surgery in a timely manner. He gives out his aftercare paperwork when you first see him, when you see the nutritionist, and even goes out of his way to attend the local monthly support group meeting here in town and passes out his paperwork then, goes over the whole surgery process, and answers any questions that anyone may have. He totally explains the risks of the surgery and I would definitely recommend him to anyone! He has a great bedside manner, has very trusty surgical competence, and comes very much recommended by everyone! Although he did forget to take out my gallbladder during surgery, he explained that I had had some bleeding and was concerned about that, but immediately took me to another surgery room to complete the surgery! I just hope I don't have to fight the insurance company and hospital bill with paying for two surgical rooms, because I will refuse to do it!

I had my consultation appointment with him and I went in prepared to fight for why I needed the surgery but there was no fight. I met the criteria and we were on our way. He is very nice.
