I THOUGHT DR BODNER WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND HIS STAFF WAS VERY NICE. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE IN THE WLS PROCESS. THEY ARE VERY BUSY THOUGH SO I DID CALL AND CHECK ON THINGS (LIKE PRIOR AUTH AND APPOINTMENTS AND SUCH). AS SOMEONE WHO WORKS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD I UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS AND KNOW HOW BUSY THEY ARE AND THEY ARE DOING THERE BEST. WE HAVE OUR SUPPORT GROUP OF ALL OF HIS PATIENTS AND IT IS VERY INFORMATIVE, ITS A GREAT GROUP OF VERY NICE, VERY OPEN PEOPLE, WILLING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. ITS BEEN A GREAT HELP.
ITS BEEN A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT THIS POINT.

I just met Dr. Ferzoco and she was very kind. She seems like she really wants to get to know me before she gets to the surgery part. I felt she had addressed the surgery with emphasis on the bad and the good. She gave me info on the support group and a prescription for xenical and xanax as I am nervous about the sleep study. I don't want to sleep somewhere that isn't home. The only thing I would have changed about today is that her scheduler seemed put out about having to get all of my tests done on mondays as my hubby dosn't work that day.

I actually wen and had my surgery with DR Bodner as Dr ferzoco had other things come up and had to put off everyones surgerys. Mine was delayed just 9 days before surgery.
I am so glad I had changed Dr. Bodner was very kind and has a great sense of humor. I am so grateful to him for giving me this wonderful gift.

Sensitive, actually takes time to listen, shows interest. He doesn't shove you out of the office after 2 minutes of back to back questions.

Everyone in his office is also very nice.

My first impression of Dr. Bodner was that he is a kind and gentle man. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff. I will update on him again after my next visit.

The staff at Morton Surgical however, leave a bit to be desired...they are very short with you and rude at times. Dr. B. will hear about this from me.

I met Dr. Bruce Bodner today March 25,2003 for the first time. He seemed very nice and informative. He answered every question, taking his time not to rush things along. Very calming. I feel quite comfortable and confident with him. I'm lookig forward to our next meeting.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bodner. I felt very comfortable with him, he explained everything well, and my surgery went great. I liked the fact that he also has you spend 3 days in the ICU and then 3 days in the regular room in the hospital. I think many doctors release their patients too soon. He really makes sure you are ok. And he did his rounds with his 2 partners too. I liked having a team of experienced docs monitoring me. His staff was great too. My disability carrier was difficult to work with and gave me many headaches. But Dr' Bodner's staff were very professional and courteous in their dealings with them.

He was a cheery fellow and very understanding. He didn't look down on me like I was a failure. I have gotten that attitude before. I went in with a list of questions and after his nurse took all my info and we talked a bit she handed me a pass out sheet about the surgey and about Dr. Bodner himself. It actually answered all my questions. So far just had the initial consult with him but I'm happy to report that him and his staff are all wonderful.

In my WLS research process I checked out two surgeons.. One in Boston and Dr. Bruce Bodner.... The minute I met Dr. Bodner, I knew he was the one... I was impressed by his mannerism, his honesty that he didnt think I would get approved w/ out a fight (thankfully he was wrong! lol) I really enjoyed his bedside manner in the hospital, he was there twice a day like clockwork. The nurses at the hospital said he was a great dr. but a tough dr and knew what he wanted.. so that made me feel good. There was nothing I didnt not like about him. I have sent other people to him who have gone on to have surgery. He stresses aftercare, and follow up visits... He was very open and honest about the surgery, the issues, etc... His supporting staff, nutritionist, etc.. was a quick and effecient process.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bruce Bodner, he is an outstanding doctor and person. He has a great sense of humor and is very open and honest. Feel free to contact me if I can be of further assistance. [email protected]

I liked Dr. Bodner from the first time I met him. He's very easy going and easy to talk to. I have several friends and family members who have worked with him at Morton Hospital and they all assure me I couldn't find a better Dr. That made me feel very confidant.

Doctor Bodner and his staff espically Liz have been very caring and helpful. I encourage anyone looking for a surgeon in Southeastern Massachusetts to make an appointment with Doctor Bodner.
