I truly love Dr Burrowes and his angels that work with him. They were very loving and caring towards me. I really felt like all of them truly cared about me and my life. I have lost 120 pounds. I thank God for Dr Burrowes because I was getting bigger and bigger, almost 400 pounds. My next goals are to have body surgery on the hanging skin so I can get my sexy on. Thanks my angels Dr Burrowes and compamy.
Dr. Burrowes is a skilled and awesome surgeon. His staff are helpful, patient, and professional. They knew exactly what to do to assist me with getting approved for surgery. I HIGHLY recommend anyone in the Atlanta, GA to use Dr. Celio Burrowes!
Surgery been re-scheduled to Jan. 18th at Atlanta Medical Center. I had the flu and had to re-schdeule.
Looking forward to my DS on January 18th!
Dr. Burrowes and his staff are very warm and inviting. He does his best to make sure you are fully aware of all of your options before you make your decision on choosing a procedure. His nurses Katherine and the mnager Monica are very nice and will address any of your concerns without hesitation.
Dr.Burrowes was Knowledgeable of the wls in different types.My impression never changed just found him to be concerned about his patients.Well my experience went very well with no problemas at all.He went to Congress and pushed for them to know that obesity is a disease.Have not made it to after care my surgery is 05/04/2010.He makes sure you are knowledgeable of all risks of surgery and that your decision is right for you.If I could rate him and Dr. Ofiice from a 1 to 10 being that I have not made it all the way through yet I would indeed give them a 09.Dont know quite yet but from what I have seen so far it is going to be surgical competence.
Dr. Burrowes was very honest, well informed and I could tell he takes what he does bery seriously. There were no frills, sales pitches and no medical hustle just the facts. His staff is also very helpful and courteous especailly Catherine.
I initially had Dr. Duncan as my surgeon, but after I found out that my insurance has a written exclusion, I went to see Dr. Burrowes...he had me put through extensive tests and I was found to have a rather large hiatal hernia, for which my insurance company approved surgery...as a result, I will have the hernia repaired and the gastric bypass (with the Fobi pouch)done, and I will have to pay the $4500 for the Fobi Pouch out of pocket. Dr. Burrowes seems to be a competent and highly trained doctor who really cares about his patients...he seemed to have a real loathing for the games the insurance companies play with morbidly obese patients...I truly admired and respected his compassionate attitude for the morbidly obese....Dr. Burrowes was very straighforward about both the risks and benefits of surgery. He took his time and answered all of my questions and did not appear in a hurry to rush away to other patients. From what I can tell, he has a structured after-care program that is becoming better and better all the time. His office staff, while they make every effort to be helpful, courteous and professional, seemed overwhelmed by the number of patients they deal with, and sometimes it takes them for ever to get back with you. My overall rating for Dr. Burrowes and his staff would be an A
Dr. Burrowes is one of the best WLS doctors in the industry. He's a man that is willing to make you better not just weight wise but health wise. I'm 7weeks post-op and feeling great!
