When I first met Dr. Campbell I was surprised by how young she is. My first impression was that she was friendly, but very professional, a bit of a straight shooter. Her confidence was very reassuring. She provided plenty of time for our consultation and was very clear about what she thought was necessary for a successful outcome. She emphasized the need for regular exercise and adherence to a healthy eating plan. She is affiliated with OTC (obesity treatment center at CMC, Catholic Medical Center in Manchester NH) which makes for a great support network between Surgeon and Nutritionist. She allowed ample time for all my questions. I was confident that I made an excellent choice for a surgeon. Her office staff is very professional, efficient and friendly.

My Neurospine Surgeon suggested to me to have the LapBand because of my progressive stage of disc degeneration and a slipped disc in my lower back. He stated that Dr. Connie Campbell does an outstanding job on the LapBand, unlike any he's ever seen. I really liked her when I had my checkup, she's so young, which is a plus, for state of the art procedures. I'm very lucky to have her, and she studied in Boston, MA which is also a plus.

I met with my surgeon on June 6, 2007 and I really liked her. I found her very easy to talk to and understanding.rnrnI tried to hide the fact that I work for a surgeon in a nearby town that used to do the Lap-Bad and Bypass surgery but she brought it up. SHe had read my Psych. consult!!! rnrnShe is very into the aftercare and stressed how important aftercare and exercise and eating right play a big role in my success. Which 100 percent agree with. rnrn

My first impression of Dr Campbell was that she seemed too young to be such an experienced surgeon. But, she is awesome and really cares about her patients. The staff has changed a little since I had my surgery but from the start till today when I went in for my 18 mo check-up...everyone has been and is great. Dr Campbell is honest and direct. She is connected with the OTC (Obesity Treatment Center) and together with Dr Phil have requirements and expectations of you and how you will \"live\" after surgery. During your first visit with her she explains what to expect from the surgery and the possible complications and risks. On a scale of 1 -10 Dr Campbell is a 10. And, both her bedside manner and her surgical competence is awesome!!

She is a wonderful and gifted surgeon. When I first met her I was surprised because she is so very young. She is an intense and serious person with a great personality. She truly cares about her patients and follows progress closely. She strongly believes in exercise and really recommends it from day one! I love her and feel she gave me a new chance at life.

I found Dr. Campbell to be very competent, thorough and professional. She takes the surgery very seriously and seems to expect her patients to also. The staff is very pleasant and efficient. When I had a medical concern post-op, they fit me in the same day! Dr. Campbell was very up front about the risks of surgery. There were no surprises. She's very no-nonsense, which is fine with me. Her bedside manner is the same - all business. rnrnI've heard some very complimentary things about Dr. Campbell from other surgical patients (not WLS) since I first met her. I'd recommend her.

'Doctor Campbell first impressed me with her serious but informal approach and her absolute self-possession and excellence. When I got to know her better as I went through the surgical process I found her to be very considerate of my feelings and willing to do what she could to lessen my considerable apprehension immediately before surgery. She revealed more warmth and humor as I got to know her while I was in the hospital.rnrnConnie's office staff are all awesome - friendly and very competent. You have to trust the process and the people and let them do their job - they're very good at it!rnrnI would advise future patients that Connie takes WLS very seriously and expects them to approach it the same way. I don' t think she'd put up with any nonsense or any less than your best effort as a patient.rnrnDoctor Campbell's aftercare program is extremely structured

I enjoyed meeting with Dr. Campbell. She is a rapid talker, so luckily I had done my homework & didn't need any clarification. Her office staff is very professional & helpful. She was upfront about the surgical risks. Aftercare is planned to the smallest detail. So far, things are going well. My surgery is booked for 4/11/06. I've heard from nurses who have had her as a surgeon & they have been very pleased. I've heard that she has great surgical skill, time will tell re: bedside manner.
4/23/06--update - Dr Campbell was very reassuring the morning of my surgery. I only saw her in the OR waiting room. I didn't see her post-op as I went home several hours after surgery. Everything went very well. I am extremely happy with the outcome!
