Corneliu Vulpe Bariatric Surgeon MD

Dr. Vulpe has a very nice bedside manner. I have nothing negative to say about him. I find aftercare is emphasized and I find the support groups to be very helpful.

Dr.Vulpe is a absoulty WONDERFUL man, Doctor, caregiver, person, and Human being. He has been my Bariatric surgeon from the very beginning , from back in 2009. He has a very warm personality. He gives you confidence in him aswell within yourself. He gives you all the answers you seek when making the decsion to have WLS. He is trusting and you know everything is going to be okay when the time comes, when you have your surgery. On the day of your operation , he usually has some soft classic music playing and give's you that soft smile, to let you know everything is going to be okay. I remember being about to go under the anesthesia, and he held my hand and just had a funny conversation with me untill i drifted off. Because my fear is the feeling of submitting to the anestseia. and when i woke up i felt calm and knew i was good. God definatly graced this man with a heart and was meant to help the obese. Dr.vulpe has a great and big heart, he cares for his patients health and them.

Dr. Vulpe was my surgeon. My first impression was that he is quick and to the point. I think he's great. What I liked best was that he did not beat around the bush. Other members of his team were also very helpful and they all emphasized aftercare.

I found Dr. Vulpe to be intelligent and caring and very professional. He's also very accomodating. The program takes a no nonsense approach and they educate patients on aftercare aspects. They are very thorough in their teachings.

About three years ago, my husband had gastric bypass done by Dr. Vulpe. He treated him with the utmost care, more than most doctors would. Dr. Vulpe explained the procedure, risks and complications in great detail and was eager to help my husband reach his weight goal. So when I decided to have the surgery myself, I knew I wanted Dr. Vulpe to take care of me as well.

Doctor Vulpe is very informative on each type of surgery. He explained all of them so that I could choose the best for me. All the staff on the bariatric team are very professional and caring to me.

My first impression of Doctor Vulpe was that he was very friendly and easy to talk to. I liked the fact that he was very straight forward. The program was great, especially the support groups. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would rate the program a 9 or 10 out of 10.
