My first impression was wow, this woman really knows her stuff. She just so readily came up with answers to every question I had. I knew I would be in good hands. My impression of her today is not much different. She did know what she was doing and did a darn fine job of it, too. Although, I do think I should have had the filter. It might have kept me from getting the bloodclot after surgery. Her staff was the best. Very caring and always ready to answer any question that was within their ability and if they couldn't, they found someone who could. The only complaint I had was not getting the filter. Make sure you insist on the filter, because you should have it. She really stresses aftercare. I am watched pretty closely, because of the clot. I get my blood tested for levels to make sure that I don't throw another clot. I am on blood thinner. She told me that any surgery that involved in cutting in the stomach area was risky. That I needed to weigh my pros and cons carefully before I decided what I wanted to do. She told me that there is a risk in putting in the filter as much as not putting it in. She was great at explaining everything. I rate her an 9 out of 10. I loved her. Both are great with Dr. Lindsay. I think she had the best manner. She even came to the catscan room when they were scanning me for the blood clots. I couldn't lie down without massive pulling pain. She told me I had to because they had to find the clots or I could die. She stood and held my hand while I was in so much pain and guided me every step of the way. I thank her so much. She saved my life, not just with the clot incident, but she gave me my health back and my quality of life. There are no words that can say thank you enough.

I went to the information meeting not for sure if I wanted to have the surgery or not. I can not tell you how many times during the meeting I said \"yes, I am doing this\" and \"no, I am not doing this\". The information meeting was WONDERFUL and she talked about the benifits and what complications could happen. I had my surgery in Dec. 2006 and 4 1/2 months later feel great (and down 92 pds). I had complication in the beginning and Dr Lindsey was WONDERFUL. She is a vey caring Dr. and her staff is just as great. I have NO complaints on anything and it was the best decision I have made to have the surgery and to go to her. When I was talking about having the surgery everyone said \"go to Dr. Lindsey in Franklin\" and they were ALL right! I highly recommend her.

Dr Dana Lindsay rnDr. Lindsay was an excellent doctor & surgeon. Her bedside manner was very caring and she was always willing and receptive to answering all my questions and concerns. She was very frank about the surgery, the side effects and possible complications. Dr Lindsay's staff were very professional kind and curtieous. She did stress the aftercare but being that I lived so far away it was difficult to find support in my area. The Johnson Memorial Hospital has an excellent aftercare program and staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Lindsay for anyone considering gastric bypass surgery. She is a very well educated and skillful surgeon. She gave me back my life I will be forever grateful to her and her staff.

I will have surgery 8/24/05 Dr. Lindsay is very nice and down to earth she answered my questions and went over the surgery and it risks in a no nonsense style. Dr. Lindsay is well educated and skilled in this procedure and has a very good track record. I feel safe and confident about her doing my surgery. The office staff has been excellent! They are extremely helpful, very friendly, and efficient. Dr. Lindsay has a very well structured pre and post-op program.

I really like Dr Lindsay. Her staff is very nice and helpful. The entire program is explained starting with the first seminar. Everything is explained in detail, along with materials to take home and study. Any and all questions can be answered at any group support meeting. Dr Lindsay is very competent., and has lots of experience.

I thought that Dr. Lindsay was to the point and was very honest and was very nice. It takes a while to get to know someone. But once you warm up to them then it is not that bad. She is really a wonderful person. Her staff is warm and friendly. I don't think I disliked anything about her or her staff. She gives you a quize to help you understand the risks of the surgery and she goes through the risks of the surgery during the oreintation. I would rate Dr Lindsay and her staff with a 9 almost a 10. 10 being the best. rnrnI met with Dr Lindsay and I thought she was real nice. She was honest and told it like it was. She did not keep anything from me. I am now waiting on my insurance for apporval and then we will see what happens from there.rnrnThank you Dr Lindsay for helping me to get my life back. I would have this surgery done a million more times and there are no regrets as I see the accomplishments that I have done and the goals that I had set and suceeded those goals. Thank you Dr L thank you so much.

Dr. Lindsay is awesome. I first met her at the seminar. She made me feel very comfortable, even though we hadn't talked one on one. She is very confident and she even says cocky, but I liked that. Her office staff has been great everytime I call or go in. They have a very smooth system there, and it works. She says that from surgery on you are her patient. You will see her for all your follow up exams for the rest of your life (unless you move or such). She was very straight forward as far as risks of the surgery go and it scared me but I trusted God an her to see me through. The only thing I didn't like was she talked to my mom behind my back. My mom is staying with me for 2 weeks but Dr. Lindsay said for her to stay only 2 days. Because I would have her do everything for me. I know that could be true but I want to make the most of this new tool and do what I have to do but it did feel a little discouraging. Overall I would recommend her to anyone.

I met Dr. Dana Lindsay last year when I attended a seminar with my sister Barby who was almost ready for her gastric bypass surgery! Dr. Lindsay is so professional, and very to the point, she doesn't beat around the bush and she is more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Her bedside manner was wonderful and she was very supportive of my sister before, during, after and with all follow ups! All of these things are what made me decide I'd love for her to perform my surgery when I get my insurance approval!! Her Staff was a big help and Eileen is a gem, she was sooooo helpful and so informative with my sister, and I know she will be with me as well!! Both Dr. Lindsay and Eileen stress the importance of the diet, the risks involved with the surgery, all potential risks involved post op, and the importance of the aftercare. I'm very impressed with Dr. Lindsay and all of her staff and I'm very complete, and total faith in her abilities as a surgeon! The only complaint my sister had was having to stay an extra day but it was because she had a minor complication that had nothing to do with Dr. Lindsay or anything she did! I will update this as I go through the procedure myself and let you know what my experience is with Dr. Dana Lindsay and her staff!! ****UPDATE**** Dr. Lindsay is incredible, I stand by everything I said, she was the same way with me as she was with my sister. She is an amazing person and damn good surgeon. The only negitive thing I have to report was that Franklin was an hour and a half from Lafayette, so the drive and traffic in Indy was long, but totally worth it!!

My first impression of Dr.Lindsay was a very good one. I could tell that she knew her stuff. She told us like it was and didn't dance around anything.
