I thought Dr. Fang was very professional. I met Dr Fang before my appointment with him because a friend of mine had surgery with him. She really liked him and thought the world of him. His office staff was great also & very helpful. Just the WAIT at the Dr's office left a lot to be desired!! {{2 hours}} I haven't been thru the surgery yet so I cant tell you about aftercare or surgical competence or anything like that.

Thank You Dr. Fang ! You were very informative and made me feel at ease I have total confidence in youand your staff, anf the hospital that I have, and will get the best of care !

Dr. Fang is a great surgeon. He tends to be a mite quiet, but very sharp. He asked me many questions about the surgery I was seeking and made sure I understood what I was getting into and the risk.

His staff is very warming and caring. When things looked bleak just prior to surgery, his staff took over and made sure everything was check, double checked and rechecked if need be.

To whomever might be considering Dr. Fang as your WL Surgeon, I feel safe in saying get him before someone else does.

I would recommend Dr. Fang to anyone, he is a wonderful Dr. He took his time, and made sure that I didn't have any last minute questions before going into surgery, and made sure that I was comfortable. I am only 2 weeks out and have no pain, everything is healing up great, and I couldn't be happier with the way I was treated. I got a cold on the Sunday after my surgery, I paged him and he called me back to let me know everything would be okay, and let me know that it was okay to use a nasal inhaler and to take the liquid pain medicine (even though I didn't need it for pain) as a cough supresent. He is GREAT!!! Dr. Fang's office has a wonderful aftercare program, many different nutritional and support groups to attend, as well as psychological help if you need it!!!!

I have only met Dr. Fang once so far, he is young and seems very intellegent and kind.

First impression: I thougth he was very nice and very knowledgeable about the surgery and about what he told me I was to expect.

My impression didnt change I still really like Dr. Fang and think he was a great doctor. I feel he did a great job and answered all my questions. He has taken extra test to find out what is causing my pain and was very understanding about my feelings

His staff I like also they all seemed very nice. I wouldnt always get calls back when I left a message but then they are really busy. When it was really important I got a call or they spoke with the doctor to see if I need to come in right away and if I did got me the first appt. they could.

The doctor will answer any questions that you have or concerns. He doesnt do the exact same things as other doctors. They all have there way of pre-op things to do. He is great. I didnt want any other doctor (sorry I had choosen Dr. Juarz) he was booked and I got a doctor just as good as him.

They emphasize after care alot. Advise you what to do and what needs done. When you go back to visit advise you if you can go to the next level of food if not when to try.

I dont know about aftercare program due to my work and the hours I worked I wasnt really checking for that.

He was open about the risk.

My Rate for Dr. Fang is execellent.....

Dr. Fang had a lot of surgical competence due to his years of doing this surgery.. He doesnt do open surgery unless it is deemed. He also has great manners.

Dr Fang doesn't have the strongest bed side manner, but for me that's secondary to a doc who knows what he's doing. He was pleasant & informative. He took a cell phone call (personal) during our meeting, which really turned me off, but as I said, he answered all my questions & I have confidence in his ability.I am sure others' exoperience a more positive personal communication style from Dr Fang.

There is a woman named Pat I've been working w/ in Dr Fang's office & she is wonderful. Always happy to help, so knowledgeable, so patient. Thank you Pat! I'd be a mess without you! I call her & she'll spend as long as I need answering questions, calming my fears, explaining things as many times as I need her to. She is an attribute to that office & has made this journey much easier & more comfortable for me.

Dr. Fang is very quiet but answered all my questions. Office staff very friendly.(especially red head) Was told that I did have too much medical records and that insurance would not care about all that. Submitted it anyway as I feel it is better to have more than enough than not enough. Angelia called exactly two weeks later and said Have a great weekend, you are approved! She then asked me to come in and pick up what was left of the records she did not submit. This was not the same person that said I had too Much.

I really like him. He took a lot of time talking to me about my history and post op expectations. He didn't rush in and out and he answered all my questions completely. He spoke with confidence about what he does, but didn't come across as cocky. I haven't had any problems with the office staff as of yet (knock on wood). Beth has been great. She's working on getting me approved. She always returns my phone calls and doesn't seem to mind the 101 questions I ask her.

Dr. Fang took the time to answer all my questions and explain (In detail) the surgery to me. I felt well informed and prepared for the surgery. The morning of the surgery he came in and once again asked if I had any questions and informed my family how long the surgery would take, how long I would be in recovery. I saw either Dr. Fang or Dr. Juarez 2 times a day to check in on me. I felt very cared for by my surgeon. I had lap RNY but my incisions are very faint lines. He used steri stips so there were no stiches to deal with. During my post op appointment he went over my diet and what I could and could not eat at this stage, he went over exercise and what I could do at this stage. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this, or any surgery...
