I was very impressed, he took his time and answered all our questions. I went to an orientation and to one support group meeting at which he attended. The people conducting the meetings were very great, I wish that the person in charge of insurance could be more of help in giving step by step directions on how to proceed with your insurance. All I can get from her is file a grievance. Don't go through your HMO go straight to your insurance. That's okay but how? I have a referral from my doctor now what? The doctors are very upfront about the procedure, how to follow the program and what the risks are. They also attended the support group and answered any questions that possible patients and well as current patients had. I rate them as great! They are definitely the group I want to perform my surgery. I just need to figure out how to get the information to my insurance company.

After waiting approximately 2 hours after my appointment time to meet with Dr. Suh I was impressed with his apparent compassion and knowledge for his profession. He spends a great deal of time with his patients, making sure to answer all their questions. I wasn't very impressed with the office staff. The receptionist was especially rude, (I hope she was just having a bad day). On the other hand the insurance coordinator, "MO" is very friendly. Whenever I left a message, she always called back in a timely manner.

I was very impressed by what I had read about Dr. Suh and then he was just as wonderful in person. His office staff, especially MO, has been wonderful and very helpful. Aftercare and support groups are very important to the doctors. I would highly recommend Dr. Suh and his expertise is this line of surgery.

The only thing that I don't particularly care for is when you have an appointment with your doctor, and then you end up seeing one of the other Doctors because yours is not there.

I knew I would like him instantly when I heard his voice in another waiting room. And I was right.(Sometimes I judge to quickly. My second office vist could be totally different). I came out of his office all jazzed. He was professional, informative and caring and answered all of my questions and then some. We actually had some things in common with one another. He also laughed at my jokes and was not stuffy and uppidy like some doctors can be. We've all had those kind of doctors right? I'm very calm and not nervous at all. I am so pleased that my insurance sent me to him. Thank you Blue Shield Access+.Now his office staff--- Busy, busy, busy and crowded like any other office, but the girls were nice and very helpful. (this was my first visit and i hope it will continue to be enjoyable for me). Overall I would recommend him to anyone that is having WLS. :~) PS He's at Crown Bariatric in Wildomar

I met with the other sugeron at Crown. Dr. Francis Essien. He is a wonderful Dr. He was very upfront and drew a diagram for me and everything for what was going to be done. He answered alot of my questions in this first meeting and told me I was a canidate for the sugery. The office staff is wonderfull although they are a very busy office. MO the insurance coordinator is WONDERFUL She is so helpful and made this process very easy. She is on top of things and is very quick once your paper work is in and done for getting the approval. I will post more after sugery.

When I first met with Dr. Suh, I was at one of the orientation meetings. (I'd been to three others with different hospitals/Drs., so I had plenty of questions)

I had a little bit of trouble understanding Dr. Suh & Dr. Dada during their spiel with the slides and information in front of all the curious people in the audience, but I decided later, after he'd finished his speech and moved to the back of the room, to approach him and ask some questions.

He and I talked for 20 minutes, and he took the time to answer each of my questions (even though I was giving him information about other surgeons, and was obviously comparing him against the others) in great detail.

After our chat, I went home and looked online, and found him listed in the Board of Bariatric Surgeon's group.

My first impression was that he was NOT at all comfortable speaking in front of groups (seemed quiet and shy) -- and wasn't sure if I was comfortable with him operating on me, but after talking to him 1-on-1, I found that he's extremely competent, and figured that since he's NOT going to deal with a large group in the operating room, then it's silly to expect that of him.

Being, now, 9 wks post-op, and having had absolutely NO problems with the surgery, I'm SO happy that I chose him after all the research I did.

I saw Dr. Dada for my first visit and he was very nice and answered all of my questions. I really liked Dr. Suh when I met him for the first time. He is very quiet but makes you feel comfortable. I was so happy to be able to have the Lap RNY done. My PCP originally was going to send me to UCLA to have the open surgery done . The insurance company did not approve me the first time through so by the time I appealed they had started sending their patients to Dr. Suh. Praise God! Dr. Suh, Dr. Essien, and Mo are wonderful. The wait to see the Dr. has been worth every second.

Now the hospital stay is another story. I would not reccommend Inland Valley Hospital. The care I received was terrible. Thank goodness I only had to stay 2 days.

I am now about 10 1/2 weeks post op and I feel great. I have not been sorry a second and would do it over again in a heatbeat.

Dr. Suh came very well recommended. He was very in formative and answered all my questions.

Mo in his office is the best. Extremely helpful.

I am scheduled for April 8.

he is busy and over worked! but still caring. the office in corona is over booked and over crowed, but that is typical they do take care of busiess and all the staff have been beyond super! he does not stress after care over much btuthe information is given to each pateint and it is ultimatly up to each person to find out the facts and follow what is perscribed. I am totally thrilled by Dr Suh, i know many others are as well. i would rate him and his staff most highly!!!!

DR DAVID SUH IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT. HE IS AN EXPERT AT HIS FIELD. INFACT THE BARIATRIC SURGEONS AT CROWN BARIATRIC ARE HIGHLY COMPETENT WITH EXCELLENT TRAINING AND WONDERFUL PERSONALITIES. MY BROTHER DR. ESSIEN IS A BARIATRIC SURGEON WITH CROWN BARIATRIC AND HE INTRODUCED ME TO DR. SUH.
THE OFFICE STAFF ARE VERY CURTEOUS AND ACTUALLY TAKE A VERY PERSONAL INTEREST IN THE WHOLE JOURNEY.
THEY HAVE A VERY STRUCTURED PROTOCOL OR AFTER CARE PROGRAM THAT IS VERY COMMENDABLE AND THEY ARE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS.
FROM THE FIRST TIME I MET DR. SUH TILL NOW I WAS AT EASE WITH HIM.FROM THE BEGINING HE INFORMED ME OF THE RISKS OF THE SURGERY AND MADE SURE I WAS REALLY INFORMED AND EDUCATED ABOUT THE RAMIFICATIONS OF THE SURGERY BEFORE PROCEEDING.
HE ALSO WAS CONCERNED THAT I HAD THE SUPPORT OF MY SPOUSE BEFORE PROCEEDING BECAUSE YOU CANNOT EMBARK ON THIS JOURNEY BY YOURSELF.
DR. SUH AND THE DOCTORS AT CROWN BARIATRIC HAVE BOTH SURGICAL COMPETENCE AND EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNERS!
