Dr. Booth was wonderful! He worked so very hard to help me win my insurance appeal (18 LONG months) and gain WLS approval. However, before I could have surgery, he retired from active practice. I was able to have my surgery done by Dr. Keith Kim, who was practicing with Dr. Booth at the time. He is a great and caring doctor! My BMI was 71 and he was able to do the surgery completely lap in about 5 hours...very skilled!! I would recommend his to anyone! The hospital at Ocean Springs, MS was great, too! You couldn't ask for better nursing care! For more details, feel free to email me!

I had my first vist with Dr Booth and the Life Shape group in Aug. The staff was very friendly and helpful, The office its'self was quiet small but I believe they are relocating to a bigger office. Dr. Booth was a very friendly and knowlegable dr. He anwsered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. Since I'm seeing him about having a revisions I had to have some test done to see if I could have another surgery.
Dr Booth said he would be doing the tests which made me feel very good about his concern about his paients.

I have not met Dr.Booth. If he is half as friendly and informative as his nurse Diana I am sure he will be great.

I finally met Dr. Booth at a support group meeting in Jackson, Ms. He seems to be a very caring person, that is concerned about all of his clients. He took time out of his busy schedule to answer any questions that came up at the support meeting. I was very pleased to met him.05/17/01

When I first met Dr. Booth he seemed very quiet! We really hit it off good when I told him a few jokes. He seems like a very sweet man and a man dedicated to the mission of helping others.

My husband had this same surgery nearly 4 months back, therefore when I met him for my surgery, I really already trusted him (even though I had never met him due to my work schedule and three kids keeping me at home when hubby had his surgery).

The office staff are the best. I swear I think I must bug them to death, however, they never act as though I do. I call them for the silliest things, I did this when my husband was preparing for his surgery too--they didn't mind then either. This clinic and the staff are completely accessable. They have a program to get you through the entire process. A support group meets monthly as well. All of the risks and proceedures were discussed with me prior to me even speaking to the doctor himself. No pressure whatsoever. I would give Dr. Booth and his staff a 10+, although I do not know what is best about the doctor and his staff as far as surgical competance, bedside manner, etc...they far exceed my expectations of the medical community.

Dr. Booth was very kind and seemed to genuinely understand. Diane was really sweet, also. They had just moved into their new office in Ocean Springs, so things were a little out of place, but the visit still went really well.
