Great bedside manner, understood my situation with starting all over trying to have the surgery for the last 3 years.rnrnImpression still the same, very nice and informative. answered my questions and made me feel at ease.rnrnOffice staff also very nice scheduling nurse post op, herself very easy to talk with.rnrnthe center that was taking care of all the pre-opt things for him was far behind, it took me 2 years to finnally meet him and schedule surgery.rnrni don't think he will be doing anymore medicaid patents come 2009, that are not already scheduled.rnrnvery much so, the surgery is the easy part...lol the rest of my life is the have to work at it part.rnrnunsure, i will be calling today to find out all i need before the big dayrnrnI felt he is really laidback about it, all surgery have risk kinda thing..rnrn1-10 a 7rnrnboth are greatrn

I PUT ALL MY FAITHIN HIMrnrnSURGERY IS 2/20/07 rnrnMY FIRST MEETING WITH HIM IS ON MONDAY 7/12/04// I KNOW THE FIRST THING THAT WILL COME UP WILL BE MY SMOKING... I AM GOING TO HAVE TO BITE BULLETT AND REALLY QUIT THIS TIME... WISH ME LUCK.

Dr. Kim is a quiet, reserved surgeon. He has a very supportive and sensitive bedside manner and asks if you have any questions and truly listens . His office staff is very accomodating and friendly. They return your phone calls and make sure that I get copies of my bloodwork for my records promptly when I request them. He is a very highly thought of surgeon by many professionals and patients alike. rn

Initial impression was that he is knowledgable and caring. Post-up impression is that he does not understand complications like tape and other allergies that make managing a draining wound extrememly difficult. He is also on the cautious side to a point where we are 3 weeks post-op, have no complications aside from the tape allergy and coping with what he reports is a normal amount of drainage, yet I am still on full liquids and know I can tolerate the next level. No one in the office was really available to addres post-op issues and concerns other than Dr. Kim and there are things you just don't want to bother an MD to addresss. After care directions were not given and aside from monthly support group which he reccommends, aftercare was not structured or addressed in my case. All-in-all, Dr. Kim is caring and knowledgable. I highly reccommend him.

Dr. Kim's office staff is very friendly. I was able to get my first consultation in only 3 weeks. He is a soft spoken gentleman. I was impressed with his knowledge and the courtesy he showed me.

I did a lot of research before going to see him, and only had a few pointed questions for him. He was surprised at how much I already knew and was not aware of this website.

I have not had the second consult yet, so I will update my opinion as soon as that happens.

7 months post op and I recommend Dr. Kim to anyone thinking about this surgery. I already have sent 1 person to him!

I've worked with Dr. Kim AND had him take care of my family members. Both his surgical technique and bedside manner are excellent. He is very thorough and conscientious in his practice.

Dr. Kim is a very nice doctor. He is very supportive of the surgery. He and his staff work with you.
