My first impression of him was right on. He is genuine, he explain both procedures the Rouen Y and lap band and the differences in the weight loss I would expect. I am a cheater when it comes to dieting, and I have the worlds largest sweet tooth. I told him I was tired of failing, he was honest with me about how you can cheat with the lap band, but he did not force the Rouen Y, he sent me home with all the information on both and said I should research it in detail and when I return for my 2nd visit, we would discuss the procedure I chose. I did chose Rouen Y.
The office staff is very busy, but their are many patients. They were always curteous and would answer any questions I had. The wait time for your appointment can run up to an hour late. But use the time to talk to other patients in the waiting room. The best information can come from post op patients.
The only thing I didn't care for was that after surgery, I hardly saw the Dr.'s. But I was feeling good and walking around, and the nurses at the hospital treated me real well.
The aftercare in structions are great, they give you a booklet that will take you through the entire process from beginning to end. What foods to eat, what to avoid, what changes in your body to expect. I have this book memorized.
I think Dr. Yatco is a fine man and surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone. Just make sure you are absolutely honest with him and yourself when describing your eating habits and your general health.

I liked him from the start. My impression never changed! He always took time to make sure I knew everything and answered all of my questions. The office staff is great (Liz) who schedules everything is a little overwhelmed so please be a little patient with her. Of course he is the surgeon so you usually see the PA before him who does your overall exam and answers most of your questions. He did say I had some adhesions during surgery that he had to take care of but did not elaborate on them.

Dr. E. Yatco is a wonderful surgeon. I let my nerves get the best of me before surgery. And he was very understanding and Dr. Kaul was very wonderful. At Dr. Cerebona's office, all are very nice sincere and have wonderful bedside manners. I would not have picked a better group to perform my surgery. They answered all my questions and just very understanding! I can't say enough about how wonderful they all are. They explain the whole surgery at there semiars. I would give all of them a A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Right across the board.
