Dr Pinnar is awesome as a surgeon and bariatric Dr. I have nothing but good experiences with him and his staff. I later had to switch Dr's for my fills becuase Dr Pinnar no longer accepts Insurance...... But Dr Pinnar is a GREAT guy! I now see Dr Barry Greene and he too is very informative and helpful.... I have been very lucky with both Dr's.

Dr. Pinnar and his staff are awesome. They are punctual, concerned and have your health as top priority.

I found Dr. Eric Pinnar when I did research for the lap band. I did not get to see him in his office until I went to a meeting where he and his staff explained what the lap band surgery was, how it worked, and why he preferred doing it over the bypass. I then went to his office to get started on my own journey.

Dr. Pinnar is a very caring physician who firmly believes in the lap band. He has excellent office staff that is always willing to help and support. The plan he offers includes pre-surgical and post-surgical visits to a therapist and a support group that meets once a month, so nobody ever feels alone in their journey.

I recommend him highly if you want the lap band. He told me he doesn't do gastric bypass anymore, he is focusing on lap band and lap band education. The only time I was not 100% happy was during my hospital stay, because I did not get to see him at all during that time. His assistant came to see me the day after the surgery (I had opted to stay overnight) and released me, but I didn't get to see Dr. Eric, and that was not what I had expected, I wanted to talk to him and hear how everything went.

very kind, caring, knowledgable. the staff bent over backwards to get my surgery approved the first time. he is committed to the aftercare as much if not more then the surgery itself.

Dr. Eric Pinnar is fabulous! I've dealt with him in the past for other issues and when I found out he was doing the Lap Band surgery, I knew he was the surgeon for me!

He will spend much time listening to your concerns and explaining the procedure in great detail. His office staff is also very knowledgable and helpful. And there is a structured aftercare program including a support group of Dr. Pinnar's patients.

I can't recommend Dr. Pinnar enough!

Met and had about 1 hour meeting with surgery nurse discussing program and Lap-Band procedure in overview style. Once she found out the name of my insurance company and facts about me, she 'pre qualified' me for the surgery and stated that in their experience in the past, the operation should be covered by my insurance company and that the process (insurance) should be rather painless, like the lap procedure.

Was approved for surgery on May 6, 2003 and am schedualed to have the procedure on June 13, 2003.

The procedure was completed and I had a rapid recovery. Dr. Pinnar ROCKS!
