I LOVE HIM!!! HE LISTENS AND IS RECOMMENDS THE RIGHT PROCEDURE FOR YOU! HE WAS RECOMMENDED BY A COWORKER AND MY HUSBAND AND I ARE HAPPY WITH HIM!! CAN'T WAIT TILL WE HAVE OUR SURGERY!!

My first impression of Dr. Miranda was.."wow" he looks young. Can he really do this? But over time my doubts become a reality check for me because I discovered that I had made the perfect choice. He answered every question efficiently and to my satisfaction. He had his business in order. He made me feel secure and unafraid. His staff was warm and also informative to me. His explanations were very beneficial to me and that allowed me to go in to surgery with a smile on my face and come out "a new woman". I was well aware of the risks' but satisfied that with Dr. Miranda's help I would do just fine. His encouragement makes you want to go back for aftercare, to here him say "you look great", "you're doing wonderful". A very concerned man., I would recommend him anytime to anyone who has weight issues. My life has changed so much. I feel great!

I met Dr. Miranda a week prior to my surgery. He introduced himself and began to explain the procedure in as much detail as possible. He answered my list of questions which was very long. Time to him was not an issue. He was eager to educate, inform, and answer any question, doubt, or fear. He was honest, which is very important. He presented himself very well and I walked out of his office very pleased on the first day. I knew he would be my surgeon! rnrnThe office staff at Dr. Miranda's is awesome! They always ask how you are. The first day I called they answered all my questions. I walked in the office laughing and they have continued to answer any question I may have. rnrnAftercare is very important. The office, which has a full-time dietician, provides you with detailed information about diet and exercise. Anyone can understand the diets. The stress of continuing to see the doctor and following the diet is very important. rnrnThere are risks to the surgery. Dr. Miranda does not lie or stray away from them to convince you. He said that it was a personal decision but he had to tell me. rnrnHe presented himself very well in his office, the day of my surgery, and the days after my surgery. You have to find a physician that knows if there is complications what he will do. I have not had any so far but I am assured he is competent to help me if there should be any. rnrnDr. Miranda provided the surgical competence I needed and the bedside manner which was consistent and caring. I will forgive be grateful for the care that Dr. Miranda and his staff have provided me. rnrnThey have opened the door to a lot of possibilities. rnrn

dr miranda was very understanding and respected my beliefs. his staff worked with me and and even returned my phonecalls quickly. my brother inlaw went to see dr. miranda 2 months after my surgery and his results have been wonderful. he went over all the information with me and even the risk. but above all he took great care for me and also the hospital i stayed. he has a great bedside manner and is very competent in his work. he takes great pride and great care for all his patience before and after.

My first impression of Dr. Miranda was that he is a very nice, caring, professional who would take as much time as possible to make sure all of your questions are answered.

I honestly have to say that Dr. Miranda is one of the greatest Dr.'s I have ever seen. When I first met him, he looked so serious about the surgery, which at that point I was serious but not yet approved; so I did not want to get my hopes up and then be denied by insurance, so I could not be as serious as he was. He explained to me everything that could go wrong plus all the benefits of the surgery. I had went to him with the mindset I was going to do the Lap Band, but Dr. Miranda helped my change my mind and go with the Lap RNY, because he told me I would probably be more happy with the RNY. He never once told me not to do one or the other, he was just making sure I would be happy with my decision. rnThe day of my surgery, I was scheduled for 12:00 p.m. but Dr. Miranda was in helping with another Dr. and they told me I was then scheduled for 1:30 p.m. After I went down to get hooked up with the IV, Dr. Miranda walked into the room wanting to know why I was not in the surgery room yet? He was so upset, and at first I thought he was upset with me but he told me I did nothing wrong, he was just upset because the nurses were not doing there job. He is a very caring, wonderful doctor and I would totally recommend him to anyone considering to have this surgery in Houston. He does take his profession very serious and any question you may have Dr. Miranda will answer each and every one of them. Also when I go see him, he never rushes you like most Dr.'s do because he is just not after your money like most Dr's are. He cares about each patient and their concerns. DR.MIRANDA IS VERY PROFESSIONAL, CARING AND INFORMATIVE. EVERYTIME I VISITED WITH DR.MIRANDA HE MADE SURE TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS.I HAVE NO REGRETS.

His staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. Come prepared with your questions he will answer them for you. Dr Miranda made it very clear about the risks of the surgery as well as the benefits of the surgery. I rate him a 10. He has both surgical competence and bedside manner.
