All I can say is look at me! I have lost over 200 pounds since my sleeve. Dr. Woodman obviously knows what he is doing and did a great job on me. Thank you to Dr. Woodman and his staff. The only trouble I had was with my insurance company which required a 6 month diet but after I completed that they approved me and then I had surgery a couple of weeks later. Can't wait until my next appointment.

Thank you Dr. Woodman. You have saved my life! I am 6 months out from a gastric sleeve and couldn't be happier. I haven't had any problems at all. Dr. Woodman and his staff were awesome. Dr. Woodman was recommended to me by several of his patients and they were right - he is very experienced and knows seemingly everything about these surgeries. His beside manner was great and I really look forward to our visits. I recommend his office to anyone looking into bariatric surgery!

Surgery scheduled for next week. Dr Woodman and his office have really prepared my wife and I for surgery. He put me on a sensible preoperative diet plan and I have made good progress. He has spelled out in detail what I can expect from surgery. He is very thorough in making sure that all of his patients are on the same page and understand that the surgery is just a tool to help them. It is really refreshing to have a doctor be so honest and it relieves us that we can trust what he is telling us. There is not questions that he is a highly skilled surgeon who want all of his patients to succeed and to have realistic expectations. thanks Dr Woodman!

My first impression of Dr Woodman was that he really believes in what he does. He was thoughtful, concerned, and took his time and answered all of my questions. His staff was also helpful and almost seemed to give us too much information! I have a bunch of friends who have had surgery with Dr Woodman and they swear by him - that if you follow his instructions you will lose your weight. He has so many patients but it was nice that he remembered my name and what we spoke about at his seminar. Good luck to everyone!

Dr Woodman and his office has been soo helpful in getting me through the obstacles to having surgery. I had made my mind up after thinking about it for years and now that it's done I am really happy. Like Dr Woodman says on the front end, it takes a lot of work on my end but I am following his instructions and am way ahead of schedule with my weight loss. He definitely is the best surgeon in the midsouth and I recommend him and his office to anyone considering weight loss surgery.

I first met Dr. Woodman at his seminar. My first impression of him was that he was VERY direct, and I found it refreshing. I researched him, and he is a great surgeon! I had my surgery mid May and I had no complications. I have since then become less pleased with him and his practice. I had to pay a $500.00 fee for support care which I had no problem paying. I have to say though that there is little to no \"after care\". It is impossible to get a \"real Nurse\" on the phone. All of my questions and concerns have been handled by the lady who answers the phone. When I met with Dr. Woodman for my first fill, and talked to him about my concerns, he was VERY aggressive and insulting. When I questioned the advise that I had recieved from the staff, He all but said that I was lying about their advise. Also, He claims to be affiliated with a pychologist and a nutritionist, and that I could avail myself of their services anytime. He did, however, discourage going to the support groups as it was \"filled with unsuccessful patients\". AND He did not recommend the use of the nutritionist that comes in from time to time, but that I should meet with one of his nurses to have a meal plan formed. She isn't a nutritionist...just someone who has figured out how to draw up menus and likes doing it. I am wondering what my $500. is paying for. He is a great surgeon, but his practice is not everything it says it is. He is covered by my insurance, I am however making a change to a different doctor that will not be covered. I am not wealthy, so that should say a lot!

I culd not recommend Dr. Woodman. He is a brilliant surgeon but his delivery to his patients are very bad. he can be cruel, blunt and not very forgiving.rnrnI now live in Lebanon, TN and I am under the care of Dr. David Dwyer and I would recommend him to anyone. His procedure for fills is absolutely perfect. If I had had this type of fill when I first started, I feel sure I would now have lots more weight off.

I recently underwent bariatric surgery, and I can confidently say that it has been a life-changing experience. After years of struggling with obesity and its associated health issues, I decided to explore the option of bariatric surgery, and I am extremely grateful for the benefits it has brought into my life.

First and foremost, the health improvements have been remarkable. Not only have I lost a significant amount of weight, but I have also seen a dramatic improvement in my overall health. My blood pressure has normalized, my type 2 diabetes is under control, and I no longer suffer from sleep apnea. These improvements have not only enhanced my quality of life but have also potentially added years to it.

Additionally, the surgery has had a profound impact on my self-esteem and mental well-being. I feel more confident and energetic than ever before. The positive changes in my physical appearance have boosted my self-image, leading to a more active and fulfilling lifestyle. The newfound ability to engage in physical activities without the limitations of excess weight has been liberating.

It's important to note that bariatric surgery is not a quick fix but rather a tool that, when combined with lifestyle changes, can lead to long-term success. The post-operative support from medical professionals and support groups has been invaluable in helping me make sustainable dietary and exercise choices.

While the surgery itself involves risks and requires commitment, the benefits far outweigh the challenges. However, it's crucial to thoroughly research and consult with medical professionals to determine if bariatric surgery is the right option for you.

Very happy with Dr. George Woodman and his staff. I trusted him based on what my friends told me (that he was a great doctor) and he did a great job. I truly feel that he saved my life. Dr. Woodman did a sleeve gastrectomy on me last year and I have lost over 100 pounds and feel great. Haven't had any problems. He tells you everything you need to know. I recommend going to the support meetings which were really helpful. Recommend Dr. Woodman.
