had sleeve surgery last year and i am now a different person. sooooo happy that i had the sleeve gastrectomy and had Dr. George Woodman as my surgeon. he and his office staff were experts in helping me to get approved and were always available and helpful. as far as surgery and the sleeve it went without any problems and i felt great immediately. was off my diabetes medications literally the day after surgery! today i have lost more than 90 pounds and feel amazing. i can't thank Dr. Woodman enough. he was just as great as everyone told me and was really great in the hospital. surgery went really well and he just took my 'after' picture and i couldn't believe the difference. i definitely recommend that you do this for yourself and get to be healthy and choose Dr. George Woodman and his staff.

Shout out to Dr. George Woodman and his staff. I am a new man and couldn't be happier. He did a sleeve gastrectomy on me and I've had no problems. I've never had a doctor be so thorough. He spelled everything out from the beginning. It was really helpful. You can tell that he is really experienced and skilled. Some people from my office also had the surgery and had done great - I was waiting to see how they did. I wish I hadn't put it off. When I decided to have weight loss surgery I attended several weight loss seminars around the area. Dr. George Woodman was clearly the most knowledgeable and competent surgeon in the MidSouth. I have a few friends who had sleeve gastrectomies through Dr. Woodman and they have done GREAT! When I had my surgery a couple of months ago it was a breeze. Was back to work in a week which was key for me. Dr. Woodman did an awesome job and I think he saved my life. I've already lost almost 50 pounds (still have about 70 to go) but I don't think it will be a problem. Much more active now. Eating really small portions. I highly recommend Dr. George Woodman in Memphis if you are considering weight loss surgery. Dr. George Woodman is my surgeon. First impression was great - he gave the seminar and answered all of my questions. Even though it was an hour I still had a lot of questions and he stayed and answered them. He is very experienced. I am a nurse in one of the hospitals where he operates and he has done sleeve gastrectomies on about 20 other nurses and they are all happy. He has a structured program that he emphasizes. We have seen other bariatric surgeons in the city (Memphis) and they are not nearly as experienced. I highly recommend Dr. Woodman. If you call his office he can put you in touch with others who have had surgery and it was a big help to me to speak with someone who had been through the process. His office was very helpful.

My family and I really like Dr. Woodman. He is honest and straightforward and gives good simple instructions to follow. If you follow what he says you will do well. Dr. Woodman has operated on several of my friends and they are also doing well. I do have a friend that continues to eat foods that Dr. Woodman says to avoid an of course that guy isn't doing as well as the rest of us.
