Hanafy Hanafy Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

I was referred to him by Dr. Christina Richards. She felt she lacked the experience needed to perform the more involved surgery I needed. I went to Dr. Hanafy's Seminar and he put me completely at ease. He answered all my questions and was willing to do some research on some info I wanted to answer my questions. I had finished the program and was ready to schedule a surgery date and now will be trying to mesh the info together with the program at the 2nd hospital.

'I really liked Dr. Hanafy he was really nice and so was his staff. I had lap-band done and he did a really good job I felt really comfortalbe with him. He used to be part of the WISH center when there was one in Utah but it left he stayed and has is own practice. I went to Pioneer Vally hospital it was very nice. I payed out of pocket for mine 12

I had two Doctors because I had a revision and the Wish Center require Two for revisions.
Dr Hanafy is a sweetheart, he is so kind and caring for your feeling and concerns and is always there for you at anytime day or night.
The office staff are the best, they are excellent to call you back when you leave a voice mail and are always friendly and caring. They are there for you long before the surgery and long after the surgery.
I give Dr Hanafy and his staff and AAA++++ rating and hope anyone looking into this surgery will check out the Wish Center before making a final decision.

I really have enjoyed working with Dr. Hanafy and his staff. From the very begining I felt comfortable and accepted from all of them. As I continue with this process I am continually impressed with their support and encouragement. I believe Dr. Hanafy truly cares about each of his patients and how well we succeed. He takes the time to do everything just right. He wants us to feel as good as we possibly can. He knows each of us and remembers everything about us. Dr. Hanafy is very relaxed and yet very professional. I would recommend him and the WISH Center to anyone who is serious about going through this process.

Dr Hanafy is awesome. I am 7 weeks post surgery and have had no problems. Dr Hanafy and the staff at the Wish Center are as great as it gets.I have all the support I need from them along with family and friends.
If your looking inot surgery I recommend the Wish Center hands down.. On a scale of 1 to 10 they are a 15!!

Dr. Hanafy is associated with the WISH Center in West Valley City. Dr. Hanafy is a very kind man. He went over my history thoroughly, asked for clarification to questions, explained the surgery to me, and did a cursory physical exam. I was impressed! He is having me get a battery of tests just to make sure I will be a good candidate with a good outcome.

The WISH Center program is wonderful. They have you meet with a dietitian, exercise physiologist, a psychologist, a finance person, and do several tests. You are REQUIRED to complete an eight-week practice run of the diet and exercise before they will schedule your surgery. This will ensure my success after surgery.

Every person in the office greeted me by name, gave his/her name, and was very pleasant.

I can't say enough good about this experience!
