Well I though I would have a different surgeon but when I got to the O R in Lancaster, there was Dr. Fobi and Dr. Lee both to greet me. Dr Lee did the actual surgery that everning and from what I remember I found him to be very nice with a terrific sense of humor.

At first, I was a little worried about communicating with Dr. Lee. But after awhile you get used to his thick accent. After that, I liked him alot. He doesn't get half the credit that Dr. Fobi (who assisted) does. I was originally told they would have to do the operation open, but at the last minute was able to do it lap. I have only praise for both Drs. and highly recommend Dr. Lee.

Dr. Lee was terrific. At first, when I met him , he told me that he could not do laporoscopic surgery on me, but by the time I was scheduled, he consented to do it. The best thing I ever did!

The office staff is somewhat busy and sometimes it appears that they are not interested in you, but I always get calls back from someone when I have a problem to discuss. Thanks Carol!

Aftercare is important -- do exactly what they tell you to do.

I met Dr. Fobi first...I was truly impressed with all the staff ...they are very caring and treated my like a human being. Dr. Fobi was going to do the surgery but after fighting with Aetna for over a year. when we finally got approval there was a conflict and Dr. Lee did the surgery.. I also had Dr. Felahy there... I completely trust all three of those doctors, without question! I can't think of anything I disliked... after my first visit over there, I knew I had picked the right 'place' and doctors. My boss and her sister and her mother all had the surgery done there... I watched them over the past several years... waiting for the 'trouble to begin' but I did not see any... that is when I said, Ok I am going to check this out. Dr. Fobi is a pioneer in this surgery...there are a lot of doctors out there doing this that don't know eactly what they are doing.. it is very risky.. they made me very aware of the risks. They made sure I have support over here...because of the distance from them... the nearest support meetings are in Las Vegas 2-3 hours away. But my friends and family have been super supportive to me. I would rate the surgeons at Dr. Fobi's office Outstanding! Dr. Fobi and Dr. Felahy have great beside manners ... do does Dr. Lee, but he is harder to understand sometimes... All three are totally surgically competent.

Dr. Lee was hard to understand at first, but after the second meeting it got easier. The office staff were very professional, kind and friendly.I feel it is important to understand that all of the Doctors that trained with Dr. Fobi have a complete knowledge of the Fobi procedure with their own personal touch. The post op care is very good and easy to follow with preprinted handouts to cover most questions and concerns.I think the most valuble tool for post op patients is networking with fellow patients along the whole treatment process. Dr Hoil Lee gets high marks in my book for both technical and people skills. Thank You Eric Rose R.N.

STRICT AND TO THE POINT. NO. THE OFFICE STAFF WAS ALWAYS BUSY AND BEHIND IN DOING BUSINESS. I LIKE THE FACT THAT HE WENT OVER THE RISKS SEVERAL TIMES.A VERY GOOD DOCTOR. YES.TOTALLY. EXCELENT. DR. FOBI BEDSIDE MANNERS WERE GREAT, I DIDN'T SEE DR. LEE AFTER THE THE SURGERY.

Dr. Lee was great. He likes to talk to his patients and I felt very informed.

The office staff is a little confused or confusing. They're not always 100% on top of everything but they're very nice.

Dr. Lee is a very caring physician and does excellent work. Since the surgery, though, I have only dealt with the Physician's Asst. That's fine since I had absolutely no complications.

Aftercare was discussed but IMO no enough. The dietitian never did speak to us in the hospital. There's very little structured aftercare expcept doctor visits. However, the online support groups can help with this....and meeting the patient counselors to ask questions of.

I would rate Dr. Lee very high and dealing with the "staff" as frustrating. Dr. Lee was very good about addressing the risks of surgery and very conscientious in his hospital care/visits.

Both surgical competence and bedside manner are great!

My impression of Dr Lee...a very quietly strong individual. Kind, compassionate and slightly humorous. He exudes confidence about his work. I felt in good hands at all times. The risks were mentioned each and every time I saw a Dr. pre-op. The Dr's Fobi, Falahy or Lee came to see me each day I was in the hospital. The follow up appointments were positive and uplifting. I would recommend all three surgeon's at CSTO.
