Jordan Garrison Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

Dr. Garrison is great!! His office at St. Michael's is a little tricky to locate. I must have looked really lost when a nice man in the hallway asked me if he could help me. I told him I was looking for Dr. Garrison's office and he took me there personally. Turns out it was Dr. Garrison himself! I was so surprised, but it was a great first impression! He could have just pointed me in the right direction, but he took the time to walk there with me and strike up a conversation. That definitely won him some points, as I was terribly nervous already. His office staff is wonderful, and if it wasn't for Donna's help, I probably would have gone crazy by now trying to deal with my insurance. I have yet to hear anything negative about Dr. G or the surgeries he performs. He takes time talking to you and asks a lot of questions that force you to think deeply about your self image. He requires that you see a long list of doctor's for pre-op approval, but that is really a good thing. It not only insures that you are in good enough shape for the surgery, but it shows dedication on your part. Only those truly serious about the surgery will go through with the whole list. he seems extremely knowledgable concerning the surgery and stresses that it is a very serious lifestyle change and only a tool to help you lose weight. It's not a magic wand...just a tool. All in all, I think Dr. G. is awesome and I would recommend him to anyone!!!

HE EMPHASIZES AFTERCARE VERY MUCH AND ALSO CALLS AND GIVES A SUPPORT GROUP.

HE ADDRESS THE RISK OF SURGERY BEFORE AND AFTER THE SURGERY.

I HAD HEARD ONLY GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM AND THAT HE WAS VERY TALL. I THOUGHT HE WOULD BE MUCH OLDER AND WITH GLASSES. WHEN I SAW HIM HE WAS JUST A FUN LOVING, DOWN TO EARTH GUY THAT DIDN'T EVEN DRESS LIKE A DOCTOR. HE HAD HIS JEANS ON AND A SWEATER AND MADE ME FEEL VERY AT EASE. I AM VERY HONORED TO HAVE MET DOCTOR GARRISON. A DOCTOR COULD HAVE GOOD BEDSIDE MANNERS BUT HIS STAFF MUST ALSO HAVE THEM TOO. WE AS PATIENTS INTERACT MORE WITH HIS STAFF THAN HE AS A DOCTOR. I TRULY AM PLEASED AND GRATEFUL WITH ALL THAT DONNA AND MELISSA AND OTHER STAFF MEMBERS HAVE DONE FOR ME. THANKS EVERYONE!

My first impression of Dr.Garrison was that he is very concern about me. He made me feel totally at ease.Dr. Garrison explain the procedure in detail, asked me question's about myself and life. He has a very caring manner. His office staff were kind and helpful.The one thing that stood out about him was his easy going personality. There isn't anything not to like about him. Any one comtemplating wls would make a very good selection in choosing him for their surgery. He also empasized the need to become involved in the wls support seminar that he gives at Saint Micheal's Hospital.Overall he made me comfortable with my decision.He rate's a 10.

I knew Dr. Garrrison would be the surgeon for me when he came out into the waiting room and greeted each patient. I have never seen a doctor do this. I got the impression that he really cares for his patients. He's also very serious about aftercare, which I think is great.

I had my cousult with Dr. Garrison on August 28th. We were trying to figure out where we have seen each other before. It seems like we have met somewhere in the past. He is a great doctor and made my wife and I so comfortable. His office staff is great. They were so grateful that I had all my paperwork in order and all they have to do is add a cover letter and send everything to the insurance company for approval.

Ive known Dr Garrison for many years- even when he was a surgical resident! He is very good with his patients! Working with him every day- I have a better view than most. we TRY to help the patients as well as we can- some days our office is a little crazy! We stress after care is very important. any questions we can't answer- we'll have him call you!

My first impression of Dr.Garrison was very good,I met him on March 22, 2003, I told him about my situation with Bariatric Treatment Center, He was very understanding.I had surgery with Dr. Garrison on 6/30/03.He is the best doctor, He really cares about his patients, He is genuinely concerned about his patients, Each patient is treated according to the patient's needs.A friend of mine had surgery a day after me, and we were amazed at the differences in our cases.Jessica,who works at the office is cool too, real friendly, helpful.I have no negative comments about my doctor or his staff.
