Louis G, Fares, II Bariatric Surgeon

I just recently met my new doctor on April 25 , 2006. I think he is great , he made me feel very comfortable and assured me that everything would be ok after my first doctor was let go from the program due to cnflict of instrests. So I'm really excited to move on & to get this over with.

Dr. Fares and his staff are the most caring and sincere people around. They treat you like a person no matter how big or small you are (apparently I am one of their smaller patients - go figure!) I have talked to many of their patients and everyone absolutely adores him and his staff - especially the nutritionist John.

Yes, They stronly suggest support groups before and after surgery. You go back to the office 2 weeks after surgery and then another two weeks after. Then there's a schedule to follow. They are on call for any questions or concerns all the time.

Very indepth. They never tell you there aren't risks.

On a scall of 1 to 10.....they're off the charts passed 10....AWESOME!!!!!

They are both great. They are all there during surgery, after in recovery and before they leave the hospital at night. Then again back in the morning to make sure you're doing well.

Dr. Andrei is wonderful. He is very thorough and calls his patients PERSONALLY to talk with them about any questions they may have. I was his very first lapband on August 1, yet he was extremely knowledgeable! He made me feel very comfortable. His office staff is always helpful and very pleasant. He came to visit me in the hospital - in my room before surgery, in the pre-op waiting area, in my room after surgery every day, and calls my house occasionally to check on me (or his nurse practitioner Pat calls if he is too busy). I rate him very highly and recommend him very highly to anyone interested in weightloss surgery. He is very good at his chosen career!

2nd surgery was RNY lap. by Dr. Fares. Great doctor! Very nice. Have his associate John's beeper number - they are extremely attentive and wonderfully willing to help out at any hour! The office staff here in Hamilton, NJ are all very nice. They're a little new to bariatric surgery, but they're doing a great job! Highly recommended by me and their other patients!
