He is very kind and knowledgable. He is willing to work with me and the guidelines my insurance company has set up. He is thorough and I can't wait for this surgery to start a new life! I honestly have not any negative comments about him except for the fact that this physcians office is extremely busy and I don't always get a call back for a while without several atempts to reach the nurse who is in charge of the bariatric surgeries in his practice.

He is a good man with a big heart. He wants what is best for his patients and is a patient, understanding man. His nurse Pricilla is awesome. I am anxious to see how the surgery will go and how I will be treated. From what I see now, I dont think it will be an issue.

First impressions, I think he is great. He is very good with kids too. The office staff is really nice too. I really like his nurse.

Okay...well if you are reading this that means you are from aroostook county and understand that he is really our only choice up here, unless you want to travel to Bangor, which I didn't want to do for obvious reasons!
My first impression of Dr. Jimenez was that he is a very blunt and sometimes pushy surgeon...he is a very nice man as long as you do exacly what he asks of you...if you don't he does give a little bit of an attitude towards you, at least he did me when i was having a hard time losing weight on my own before the surgery, which is something that he requires of his patients...As for my impression changing over time, it hasn't really, like I said he's a nice man as long as you do EXACTLY what he asks. His office staff is very nice, it seems as though he is ALWAYS running behind and his secretary is so patient with him and always asking if we need anything while we're in the waiting room, shelly is very very nice! Well, as for what I like least about him, he's always in a hurry because he has so many patients to see, so you better write down any questions because he's on his way out the door before I ever remember my questions that I have for him...he'll answer my questions, but you can't waste time with him! What I liked best about Dr. Jimenez was that he did a great job! I have seven small incisions and one of them is in very bad shape at the moment, it's purple and hard as a rock, but I go see him wednesday and hopefully it's nothing that was done during surgery?! Something I would warn everyone about Dr. Jimenez is that he's ALWAYS running late...I have not yet had an appointment with him where he was on time, even when I was scheduled for my pre-op EGD he was running behind and I had to wait in day surgery for him...then the morning of my surgery, the nurses couldn't understand what was taking so long, I was sedated and they were all waiting to bring me in the operating room and turns out he did another procedure before he did my surgery...like I said, there's always something that comes up with Dr. Jimenez!! As for aftercare, I can't say much because I'm only ten days out right now...but when I was in the hospital he came to check on me at least twice a day! He def addressed the risks of surgery, one thing with Dr. Jimenez is that he is very blunt, nothing is not said with Dr. Jimenez! He's a good surgeon for our area, like I said you know as well as I do that if we wanted to be picky we would have to drive to Bangor, and that's just a pain in the butt, espeically with all the pre-op and post-op appoinments! Any questions feel free to email me!!

1) Not that great of a bed side manor, but ok.
2) He has his moments
3)His office staff is very nice, his nurse sometimes needed a little push to get things scheduled in a aproprite amount of time.
4)He always seems short on time
5) He's local and its not to hard to get in to see him he has only done a few surgerys and has not had any problems
6) after care will be very important so that complications will not accure.
7)appointments will be scheduled weekly/monthly, yearly after the segury
8)This is an very dangerus surger and is not to be jumped in to .
9)when there is not many choices he rates pretty high if there were more choices well...
10)surgical comperence of course.

Met Dr Jimenez and thought he was a very good Dr.
Unfortunatly the next day they call the insurance co and the decided to revoke my approval??? Now I am trying to put the pieces together for an appeal.

Got approved again. I had to really work to get it but it will be worth it.
I talk to the Dr's office and they are hoping to get me scheduled before the insurance company can change there minds again.

I found Dr. Jimenez to be very supportive and knowledgeable. I am somewhat concerned that he hasn't performed as many surguries as other doctors, however I have confidence in him.
