I live in Texas and my insurance didn't cover weight loss surgery so I decided to go cash. I did my research online and after reading his reviews on Facebook I decided to schedule for a consultation with Dr Mario del Pino. Once I met him I confirmed what I had read. He took the time to answer all my questions and doubts, reassuring me it was going to be a life changer for good. He is very professional and has excellent bedside manners. I paid $8500 for my sleeve here in the US! by a US certified Bariatric surgeon!!! My first visit was $150 and clearances were $500. My surgery was done with only three tiny incisions, and was able to go home the next day after surgery. So far I have lost 70 lbs and I am enjoying my new life. Thank you very much Dr del Pino, I am not only loosing the weight, but also becoming a much more healthier person.You are the best!!!

My name is Sandra I was an insulin dependant type 2 diabetic. On December 11, 2014 Dr. Mario Del Pino performed the Roux Y gastric bypass at Mcallan Regional Hospital. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Del Pino, his staff and the hospital. I was like most everyone one who has had or is thinking about having surgery scared and unsure. Well that was until I met Dr. Del Pino, I knew after my first visit a year ago that he was the right doctor. Like most over weight people I have a story as to how I came to be so over weight and like most over weight people most of it was out of my control. Dr. Del pino gave me control of my life, I know, I still have a long way to go but now I have hope I didn't have before. And for those of you who think having this surgery is taking the easy way out you could not be more wrong, it is not easy but with the right doctor, staff and hospital. Doctor Mario Del Pino is incredible, everyone there is top notch professional, yet remains compassionate, caring, friendly and above all supportive in all aspects you will encounter in your journey for a surgical weight loss solution. I had a gastric bypass sleeve in August of 2013, at almost 1 year out I've lost approximately 75+lbs, am diabetes FREE, reduced my medication needs to zero. I have more energy, stamina, and feel so much better about living my new life. The staff at the doctor Del Pino are simply the best, and they offer a myriad of support including group support, individual counseling, nutritional education and support, community outreach and allied health provider access to their patients and other medical professionals to educate them about bariatric care. I'm very pleased with my results and the care I got from Dr. Del Pino. I had my surgery on July 2013 and I'm doing great. I have lost 60lbs but most of all I have lost my high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, fatty liver among other health issues that I had. Hello! I just wanted to share with all of you my wonderful experience with Dr. Mario del Pino and his staff. I came all the way from Lima, Peru to have surgery with him. He performed a sleeve gastrectomy on me 9 days ago, on January 3rd and I feel GREAT!
From the moment I met Dr. del Pino I felt 100% save and I knew I was putting my life in excellent hands. He took all the time to clarify any remaining doubts and concerns I had regarding the procedure and what to expect post op.
His staff was also very nice and helpful, which for me coming out of town was extremely important.They helped me arrange appointments I was not able to schedule on my own!!!
I would recommend Dr. del Pino to anyone interested on having these type of surgeries or any other type of surgeries; not only for my excellent experience with him, but also for his love, passion and dedication to his work!!!

Dr. Del Pino was the second doctor I meet with when I decided to have WLS. I made my decision to go with him after my first visit with him. He answered all my questions and was genuinely interested in me and my health and not just another "number". Dr. Del Pino and his staff care about their patients. I would recommend Dr. Del Pino to anyone interested in bariatric surgery. It has been 6 months and I have lost over 80 lbs and feel great. Without a doubt Dr. Del Pino is the best.

Dr Mario Del Pino is one of the best doctors i have ever had. He explained everything great and was very patient when i asked a million questions. I had the sleeve surgery and i can honestly say it has made everything great. My insurance did not cover this but it was the best money i have ever spent. I would recommend him in an instant to anyone thinking of having this surgery.

He is so patient, kind, understanding and yet he takes his time to answer questions or calls!!! Dr. Del Pino is a highly qualified physician like no other physician I have ever known!!!!!! I had been wanting to get a weight loss procedure done and contemplated this option for about 5 years and actually met with Dr. Del Pino back then. After meeting with other doctors and attending weigh loss seminars, I made my choice. Dr. Del Pino was my choice of physician and I am so thankful for making that decision! I had the gastric sleeve surgery 9 months ago and I've lost 102 pounds thus far.

I would not recommend anyone else for bariatric surgery but Dr. Mario Del Pino. He is a wonderful physician who genuinely cares for his patients. I not only work as an RN taking care of his surgical patients but I myself have had my own surgical procedure done by him. My gastric sleeve has transformed my life; actually it has given me life! I owe this to him, he has enhanced my health, confidence, and over all well being. I have had not one complication and the scarring is barely there. He has the brains and hands to perform such a life altering surgery. You will not be disappointed. His complete office staff is wonderful! They all care, and take the time to make you feel comfortable and at ease. If I had to do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing, and definitely not my surgeon!!!
