Michael Seger Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

After my PCP recommended Dr. Michael Seger for WLS, I decided to attend an informative WLS seminar in which Dr. Seger was the speaker. My first impression of him was he looked mighty young, but I found him to be very knowledgeable and experienced with WLS. Dr. Michael Seger is affiliated with the New Dimensions/WeightWise Bariatric Program. This program is a multi-faceted Weight Loss Approach in which you are able to attend to all aspects of care. The structured after-care program is designed to enhance the physical tool given through surgery, in order to help all patients attain 100% success. I highly recommend Dr. Michael Seger and New Dimensions/WeightWise Bariatric Progam to any person male/female in the San Antonio, Texas area. The staff is caring and patient. The surgeons are top notch. The pre-op and post-op programs are great! This facitily is a Center of Excellence and it shows!

It was great having Dr. Seger as my surgeon. He always answered all our questions and had a super bedside manner. Because of Dr, Seger this surgery was a breeze. His skill and knowledge I believe was the main reason I had such a successful procedure.

Dr. Seger staff are top notch always smiling making you comfortable through the whole the process. They were always making you feel you making the best choice in having the surgery. After the surgery was complete they were always there answering any questions and helping with your diet.

Dr. Seger and his practice at BMI are fantastic. From the first time that I met him at the seminar, his bedside manner has been wonderful. My name is Mary, and on 9/15/09 I had a RNY. My presurgery weight was 236 an this morning,Thanksgiving day, my weight is at 189.I have so much to be thankful for. My surgeon, Dr Mickey Seger, has given me a new lease on life. Unless you have a problem with obesity, you will never know what having a Dr. who specializes in your specific needs can mean to you. I found that in Dr. Seger. He answered every question and believe me I had several. He layed out every detail of the surgery, the good, the bad and the ugly. He offered all the alternatives and explained each option. He was there from the day I walked into the office 5/21/08 and has been there for me since my surgery.The staff in his office are down right embracable. I actually work for Dr. Seger and Dr. Duperier. We have a pretty small office staff and we are all like family. Dr. Seger has a wonderful sense of humor and is very family oriented. He and Dr. Duperier both are all about you, the patient and only has your best interest at heart. They both have awesome bedside manners and I felt so at ease knowing that I was in their care. I had never had any type of surgery prior to weight loss surgery and I can honestly say I was very confident and not scared at all. The best feeling in the world is to know that if something comes up and you want to speak to your doctor that they are easily assessable and both of these docs are. I would recommend either of them for WLS or general surgery. They are the best!

My first impression of Dr. Seger is that he was very young, humorous, and he made you feel completely at ease.
His office staff is kind and emailed me back as soon as they had information for me.

Love, love, love my Doctor! Kind, funny, informative and very supportive. Office staff before surgery was terrible, unreturned phone calls. I had to REALLY push to get my claim with insurance moved along, but thank God, all that is done with. Hos post surgical staff is great, so far. I think they are just experiencing great growth pains and hopefully things will smooth out. I can always get a pretty quick response from the doctor if I email him directly.

I first met Dr. Seger at the seminar required by New Dimensions. He was the presenter for the evening as well as being the surgeon recommended by my PCP. His personality is just wonderful and I truly appreciated the way he stayed around after the seminar to answer questions. He went down the line (those who were waiting to schedule an appointment) and asked us all if we had any additional questions to ask and was willing to answer them all. rnMy surgery day went well and although I had some minor problems during the surgery, recovery went pretty well too. Dr. Seger is a wonderful surgeon and I can't say enough about him and what he has done for me.rn
