Muthukumar Muthusamy Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

My doctor and all his staff are great. Anyone who plans on going to my doctor should know there is nothing to worry about. Everyone is great and they really want to help you and they understand. My doctor is great and I trust him completely. There isnt anything you dont know and i have never walked away from an appointment still having questions or worried. how would i rate my doctor staff etc.. At 10 across the board.

that he was a nice person,outgoing,sincere.when i get to know him i see the good person that he is.the office staff are very nice. the aftercare was very good to.i rate him 100%.to me surgical competence,and bedside manner are great.

I have not met with Dr. Muthusamy yet, but i did meet with his assistant Sabrina. She explained all the types of weight Loss surgery they have and the one that i will best fit my need. I was very pleased of how she explained everything to me and also told me about hte types of support groups they have. I am very excited about this and i just can't wait until i get the surgery done..

10/20/2005 I finally met Dr.Muthusamy,oh my God he is such a great Dr... He gave me a good impression,I felt like if i knew him for years... He looks like a loving care person...

ON FIRST SEEING DR.MUTHUSAMY WHILE WAITING IN THE WAITING AREA AND NOT KNOWING WHO HE WAS I GOT A IMPRESSION OF A VERY CALM AND SENSITIVE PERSON. EVEN THE WAY HE SPOKE TO ALL THE PEOPLE AS HE PASSED THEM SAID A LOT ABOUT HIM. THOUGH HE DIDN'T DO A LOT OF TALKING HIS PA SABINA DID ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS BEFORE I ASKED AND HE ANSWERED THE ONES I ASKED. I AM SURE I'VE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE.EVERYONE ELSE WAS NICE AS WELL.9/2/04 WAS SIMPLY MY CONSULTATION NOW I HAVE TO GET ALL THE MEDICAL WORKUPS DONE. ITS HARD BECAUSE I CAN'T GET AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE OCT.14. BUT I AM HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO HAVE HOPE OF NEVER HAVING TO FAIL AT A DIET AGAIN AND MAYBE GE RID OF THIS ACID REFLUX.
MORE LATER WHEN I CAN GET THROUGH THIS MEDICAL SLOWDOWN.I THINK DR MUTHUSAMY WILL HAVE AN EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER AS WELL AS BEING A GOOD SURGEON.

I haven't gotten to meet him yet. Today Augst 5, 2004 was my first consultation with his bariatric surgery coordinator. She was so great. Very helpful and informed very well about the procedure and what the process was. The office staff is great. They are very attentive and help you in getting your appointments and consults quickly.

HE WAS A WELL MANNERED GENTLE MAN THAT LOOKED LIKE HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING.
MY IMPRESSION OF HIM DID NOT CHANGE MUCH HIM AND I DID NOT HAVE ALOT OF INTERACTION AFTERWARDS BUT ON THE OCCASIONS WERE WE DID TALK HE MADE SURE THAT I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING THAT HE WAS SAYING.
HIS OFFICE STAFF WAS INCREDABLE THEY ASSISTED ME IN ALL MY NEEDS AND MADE SURE I KNEW WHAT I WAS GETTING MY SELF INTO.
THERE IS NOTHING THAT I LIKED LEAST ABOUT HIM EVERYTHING WAS GREAT.
THERE IS NOTHING THAT I CAN WARN ABOUT HIM HE SEEMS EASY GOING.
WILL RECOMEND HIM 100% SO FAR I WILL LET YOU NOW AFTER SURGERY.

Well my initial feels came from taking the time to understand what my doctor was about, and you can find out alot of information in this website alone. Its Just been a few wks post op, and he and I have had talks about my recovery and what I may obtain from this change in my future. He is "human" you can stop and talk with him unlike other doctors you come across throughout life. I dont have any complaints as far as his office or staff, they are very helpful if you need the extra push in the right direction. If I have anything mal to say about him, I'd say he didnt tell me about the limited parking at his clinic just kidding. Personally, I would introduce a friend seeking the same kind of help from Dr. Muthusamy Ive had minimal discomfort from the gastric bypass, and my scar is very smoothe and even. I came from my second check up appointment today, and he asked about my eating habits. And was conserned I wasnt doing any internal damage to myself. We discussed how much exercise Im allowed to do weekly and how I can make myself stronger. The risks of the surgery was the very first issues discussed as to you have to speak with other professionals about your health before even getting permission for the gastric bypass. I would give this man a rating of 8-1/2, I appreciate well rounded people in general and thats what he was for me, thank you Dr. Muthusamy for giving me a fresh start on my life.

Dr Muthusamy was very pleasant and professional. All my questions were answered with straight honest responses. Some doctors seem cold with consultation, acting as though you are some type of malfunctional gadget. Though this was not my first consultation meeting with a biatric surgeon, Dr Muthusamy was by far the most confident surgeon for such a job.

The first thing I noticed about Dr. Muthusamy was how kind and easy going he was. Right away he made me feel comfortable and at ease. His assistant, Sabina Zak is a pure sweetheart. Everything was done so fast, it was actually unbelievable. Sabina got insurance approval in a timely manner(approx 2 days!. I would recommend Dr. Muthusamy to anyone in the world---HE IS A GREAT GUY!!
