I cant tell how affraid I was .He didnt sugar coat anything. From 3 weeks pre-op to the time i awoke from surgery I was convinced he was the one I wanted. his previous expierance as an orgin transplant surgen gives him a special perspective on this type of surgery and after care

Dr. Srikanth has a great sense of humor and would have taken as much time as necessary to answer any questions I had.
I asked him to tell me why he decided to do bariatric surgery and he gave a frank/honest answer. He likes making people healthy/happy who haven't been happy or healthy for a long time.

The office staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Have people of all sizes. They have advocates on staff who've had the surgery to work with the patients.

The Surgical Weight Loss Clinic cares most about after care and makes you sign an informal contract with them that you'll do your part. From my experience with other doctors or on line reading I believe they are more restrictive in the allowable foods. And they require more pre op labs.

The after care is extremely structured and I could probably recite it in my sleep now that I've heard it so many time. But that is great in my opinion.

I've also heard the risks enough now to recite them in my sleep. They are very open about their morbidity and their success rate is very high compared to the national averages. They have been tracking their (over 7000) patients for many years, so have a lot of raw data to back up their after care philosophy.

I haven't had my surgery yet, but I can't imagine the bedside manner will not be great. I like a sense of humor and all the doctors at SWLC seem to have good humor.

I was prepared to break down and cry upon talking to the doctors, nurses, etc. before I met them. I never did. They spoke so kindly and made me so comfortable. The first thin people I've ever met that understand my predicament.

He has a great smile. I felt very secure with him.

Very personalable and informative on my first preop visit to meet him. I have not had an opportunity to make a decision of over time as I have met him once. His office staff are very frienly and informative as well. He emphasizes that he will or his staff will follow you the rest of your life and he wants a commit from you that you will do this. He has a very structured after care program. He went over lots of risk, but I am also a registered nurse and I an informed of these risk. My significant other felt like the discussion went very fast and he would have been lost about all the information had I not known what he was talking about. I think competence is of utmost importance, but without bedside manner I would feel like I was just another satistic.

I could tell the research I did on the web was right about my surgeon. He's very educated and experienced. As far as I know he has no mortality rate at this point.
My impression has yet to change of his competance as a surgeon.
His office staff, so far, has been so helpful and kind. They do get so swamped at times I think they assume we've all had the same type of surgery. I can't come up with one thing I don't like about him since our time together has really been very little.
I think all patience should know he's a very very busy Doctor and you don't see to much of him. Keep in mind though I'm less then two months post op. I do think he may practice in a few diffrent states so he may travel a lot.
He emphasizes aftercare being the one thing that will keep you alive in a healthy condition. The aftercare program is outlined for the patient and up to the patient to communicate to the clinic and keep up with the program. You've got to be really independant and have the will to be successful. The clinic is just as a support system if you need them as well as the people to keep you accountable to your health.
The risk of the surgery was addressed from the begining and all throughout my involvement with them up to now.
I would rate him overall as a surgeon who is a perfectionist (which is the best).
He's better with his surgical competence, but he isn't bad with the bedside manner either.

Everything went great, he is a great doctor.

first impression was great, aftercare very stressed, he is very personable and cares very much, the risks were thoroughly addressed, aftercare very structured, takes his time with patients. I'd recommend him to others. The only thing is that since he is so thorough, you often have to wait to see him, since he is also thorough with the patient before you. He really studies your chart before he sees you and also takes time to get to know your family that is with you. he is very honest and direct.

When I went to the Seminar for Surgical Weight Loss...Dr. Srikanth was there answering questions. My immediate impression of him was a feeling of trust, very kind, friendly, and he had a deep concern for his patients. At that moment I knew I wanted him to be my Surgeon.
His staff was very helpful..before and after surgery.
I did not have any negitive feelings against Dr. Srikanth.
I would highly recommend him for any Bariatric surgery! He explains everything he is going to do, and really takes his time to make one feel at ease.
As with any surgery there is risks' involved.
These were all explained to me. Also the after care and follow up is very important, to reach our weight loss goal.

Dr. Srikanth is TOPS in my book !!

Dr. Srikanth was very professional and caring as well as knowledgeable. The office staff is very caring as well. Aftercare is highly emphasized, and the team works hard at being avaialable and up to date. I do not regret choosing this team as my surgical team. The only complaint I have, is after 1-week post-op, the Dr. was at the office and I had my appt. with an associate who was not at the surgery. I had several questions I wanted to ask him personally and I have not seen him since. Other than that, I am satisfied with the care I am receiving.

I found him to be very knowledgiable. His staff was professional and friendly.
My aftercare has been excellent.
I would recommend him to others without any reservations
