My first Impression of My doctor was that he was a total sweetheart and was wondering how he would do the operation being 4'9" tall. LOL He explained in detail about my operation and all of the pro's and con's. The office staff made me feel like they were my long lost family.

Dr. Samules and his office staff are WONDERFUL. The before and after care really help in the transition to a new lifestyle. They were very helpful in handling insurance matters and are very willing to assist with any financial arrangements necessary.

The aftercare program consists of an office visit once a month with the doctor, pschyatrist, and nutritionist. Blood work is taken every 3 months to assure no problems with nutrition.

Dr. Samuesl is very up front about surgery risks. He answers all questions truthfully. He does not pull any punches.

Overall I would rate Dr. Samuels and his staff as the best there is.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF MY DOCTOR WAS REALLY SHOCK. HE IS A VERY SHORT MAN, BUT THE SWEETEST THING YOU CAN EVER FIND. HE IS VERY INFORMATIVE, CARING, AND JUST OVERALL A GREAT SURGEON. MY AUNT HAD SURGERY WITH HIM 3 YEARS AGO. MY IMPRESSION OF HIM ONLY GETS BETTER EVERY TIME I SPEAK WITH HIM. HIS STAFF IS ALSO GREAT. THEY KNOW ME WHEN I CALL THE OFFICE, AND ARE JUST EASY TO TALK TO. THEY WORK VERY HARD TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I MAY HAVE. MY DOCTOR DOES STRESS TO FOLLOW A GOOD EATING PLAN POST-OP. IT DOES INCLUDE EXERCISE. MY SURGEON HOLDS A MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUP ON EVERY THIRD WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT 7:00pm AT VENCOR HOSPITAL IN FT. LAUDERDALE FLORIDA ON LAS OLAS BLVD. THEY ARE WONDERFUL TO ATTEND. IT IS AMAZING WHAT THEY DO TO YOU. DR. SAMUELS IS VERY FORWARD ABOUT ALL THE RISKS, AND HE STRESSES THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE TRIED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO TRY TO LOOSE WEIGHT BEFORE RESORTING TO SURGERY. HE STRESSES THAT THIS IS NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY BECAUSE IT IS A VERY SERIOUS DECISION, AND ONE MUST BE READY FOR IT. HE IS A VERY SKILLED SURGEON, AND AT THE SAME TIME HONEST, AND JUST GREAT. I HONESTLY HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY, AT LEAST NOT YET.

Dr Samuels has a very cheerful demeanor and seems to be genuinely interested in the well being of each of his patients.

His Staff just couldnt be more cooperative and informative and willing to help.

First impression's are important, and the
office staff as well as Dr. Samuels made me
feel good about what I was going to do. My
impression still of that office, is excellent
and he has helped many, many men and women out
there with their weight loss procedure.

The aftercare after the surgery (and beyond)
was good and they have a support group once a
month for post-op patients and anyone that wants
to see "what it's all about." I went to several
of the support groups before I had the surgery
so I knew some of the patients that had had it.

The risks of surgery (and the benefits) are
spelled out in forms that you sign for the
pre-op process, as well as anybody could tell
you about the surgery. That's the scariest
thing about having this surgery, but I did it
twice!

I rate Dr. Samuels as a 10+ in my book for the
surgery that he does for people that are VERY
obese and helps them get down to a "normal" size.
I lost 185 lb. and still maintain that weight
loss, despite being on ERT due to a hysterectomy
last February.

My surgery was and will be with Dr. Samuels!
He's a wonderfully gifted surgeon, and cares
very much for his patients. I am presently
at the insurance approval stage for a revision.

The aftercare and support groups they have was
truly a god send ... I needed them tremendously
and they were always there for me. The post-ops
in group were as well and always willing to
lend a listening ear when needed or offer
advice.

My revision went very well and Dr. Sam will follow-up
with me via mail and phone since I live in Kansas City now.
I am doing great! He and Dr. Cox his assistant were very
attentive and listened and answered all concerns and questions
I had.

Doctor Samuels and his staff are great, always there to answer any question you may have.

The best & his staff is unbelievable

Dr. Samuels is wonderful. He really cares about his people. I love him with all of my heart and soal.
