Peeter Soosaar Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

Dr. Soosaar gives an awesome first impression! When I first met him I could tell he loved what he does and to do a great job, you have to love what you do. He took his time with me and explained the options and the risks thoroughly then explained why he felt the verticle sleeve was the best surgery for me. The day of surgery he came in to see me and asked again if I had any questions and calmed my nervousness considerably. After the surgery was done he came in and checked on me quite a few times (as well as his PA Beth, who is totally awesome too) and he even came in to check on me when he found out that I had some nausea while trying to go from regular liquids to something a bit thicker. In other words, you're not just another patient to him. My impression of him keeps getting better the more I see him. He is very competent and has a great bedside manner. On a scale of 1-10, he is a 100 (yes, a 100). The office staff is very professional and helpful.

I actually knew him prior to my surgery since I worked in the hospital, he is a very nice man I would rec him to anyone. His bedside manner is excellent and the way he cares for his patients. I have no complaints about him or his office staff, they are all very nice.

Sept. 2 was my consult. Dr. Soosar was very friendly. We talked about every detail of the surgery and what steps to take next. He wanted to make sure I was very well informed. I know that he is the right surgeon for me.
