Peter respected my medical knowledge about the Roux en Y procedure. He was direct and informative. He believes in what he is doing and is very confident.

He did an excellent job! I was worried at first but I am glad I didn't wait for Dr. Leverton. He is just as knowledgable. I am now a "Loser" and I am thankful to Dr. Wiltse.

I had my consult with Dr. Wiltse on 1/9/03. I felt very comfortable as he explained everything about the procedure thoroughly. I did my research on him and felt very comfortable with my decision. The staff was very helpful as well. He was very knowlegable in all the information he supplied. My surgery was on 2/14/03, this was my Valentines gift to myself and my children spoke with him after the surgery and felt comfortable with his feelings about the procedure. The aftercare program is great and everyone seems to be concerned with how I am doing. Dr. Wiltse is very professional and kind. I do not need someone to hold my hand throughout the process and I still know if I need anything I can contact him or anyone at BTC for assistance. I have had a great experience. I would not have gone anywhere else. The only thing that appeared to be difficult was the way the insurance department handled getting my precert completed.

I met Dr Wiltse on March 4th when I went in for my consultation at Bariatric Treatment Center. I didn't get a "warm and fuzzy" from him but he was thorough in his explanation of the procedure and appeared to be competent. I had done a lot of research prior to my consultation so I didn't have a lot of questions. He did address the risks of surgery. We talked about open versus laproscopic and he explained why he thought open was better. He does emphasize aftercare and has a structured aftercare program.

My first impression of Dr. Wiltse was how young he looks. I didn't meet him till the date I was suppose to have surgery. He was very friendly and satyed with me a long time during pre-op answering all my questions. When the Dr that was going to put me to sleep didn't like my EKG and cancelled my surgery, Dr. Wiltse actually held me while I cried. Enough said? He is wonderful!
I can not say enough about the staff @ BTC. No matter how many times I call they always take the time to answer all my questions.I am, to date, waiting for a re-schedule of my

Dr. Wiltse is a very nice and knowledgeable person. I originally started out seeing Dr Capps but he had to leave and was going to be gone for several months. I have no regrets for switching to Dr. Wiltse. He did a great job.

My first impression of my surgeon was good. He was very knowledgeable. I have only had one meeting with him. The staff was great. He anwered all my question and I had quite a few.

Dr Wiltse was very informative, he was patient and let me ask all the questions I needed to and even let my friend ask a bunch of questions too. He was friendly and very personable, he made me feel very confident in my choice to do this. His office staff was great, the counselor that he has working there has experienced it all and she was willing to answer even the personal and even embarrasing questions. Dr Wiltse does extensive follow up and long term follow up, he expects you to come back to see him at least once a year just to update your info and to make sure you are on scedual with your weight. When he began talking about the risks of the surgery I was a little frightened but as he reminded me there is always a risk with any surgery and the end results will be well worth it. I think I will love having Dr Wiltse as my doctor and that I will undoubltedy come back to his clinic when I need the tummy tuck and other surgeries associated with the weight loss.

Dr. Wiltse was very personable. He shook my hand with a firm grip. I like that. When he talked to me, he looked me right in the eye. I like that to. He didn't make me feel like I am at fault for being the way I am. (I REALLY liked that) He also answered my questions relating to the surgery. The staff was great. BTC has you speaking to a consultant who has had the surgery. We talked about everything from loose skin to eating in restaurants. That was nice. The nurce wasn't big as a minute..But, she (Tameka) was very nice. I forgot, he's not requesting me to do the sleep apnea thing. I wonder if the insurance will require that. We'll see in time. They did tell me not to expect an answer for aout 6 weeks. We'll see. My husband and I will pray on that!!! :)
