Dr. Byars is incredible. He is very down to earth and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is, without a doubt, my hero. For without him and his expertise in revision surgery, I may not have had the end results as I have had. rnrnHis staff is awesome. They are always kind, upbeat, and make you feel great about yourself. rnrnIf I had to rate Dr. Byars I would give him a 100 on a scale of 1 to 10!! I have nothing but good things to say about him and his colleague, Dr. King. I searched a long time for the perfect surgeon, and in my eyes, I found him.
Dr. Byars is a well informed caring doc. His staff is always avaible when I need them, when he sets goals he sits and explains why.He emphasizes aftercare alot. He has a excellent bedside mannor, he reviews risks in such a way that you come out fully informed and understand what you heard. I would rate him a 100+.
Walker Byars is a diligent Surgeon who truly cares about his patients. The Center for Bariatric Surgery -division of The Surgical Clinic of North Mississippi, is one of the \"Centers of Bariatric Excellence.\"
Dr. Byars has been great from minute one. He has been very thorough. He was very informative prior to surgery about everything and was very patient to answer all of my questions. I had a whole page full of them.I have been very pleased with him. Dr. Byars has a very strict after care program and expects everyone to adhere to it. Has a great bedside manner.
11-14-06 Met with Dr. Byars today for the first time and felt very comfortable with him. He is very knowledgable about the lap band surgery and he was more than willing to answer any and all questions that I had.
The first meeting was great. He is a great DR and a very professional caring Dr. My impression never changed he was the same the whole way thru the process. The whole staff at his office have great attitudes. His aftercare is very strict on eating habits which helped me alot. If i was rating from a 1 to 10 he would be a very high 10. His whole competence and manner are both great.
Dr Byars was an excellent surgeon, i would Reccommend him to anyone. He is very caring and patient and Very encourageing, as well is his staff. He has a very structured after care program.
My first impression of Dr. Byars was wow he is young, but this was a plus for me since I seem to trust younger doctors over the "older" generation since they are "fresh out of the books." My impression changed over time though after I got to know my doctor. He knew exactly what he was talking about as if he had been doing this surgery for 50 years or more. His office staff was always very helpful and informative. Dr.Byars is very straight forward and to the point which was great for me. He explained all the risks of the surgery in the first meeting so that I knew eactly what I could be in for. My determination overrulled anything risks he could have told me about. After my surgery he put me on an aftercare program. He instructed me on how to care for my incision, and the proper diet, and my limited exercise. His bedside manner while I was in the hospital was great. I was barely even out of recovery and being taken to my room and he was there waiting on me. He came again later that night to see how I was doing. He also had his collegue looking after me for the whole weekend. I have had absolutely no complications from my surgery because I have followed his guidelines strickly to avoid any complications. I have already lost over 30 lbs and I am 5 days away from being at my one month anniversary. I feel great and it's all thanks to Dr. Byars!. Thank you!
