Robert Sewell Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

I really recommend Dr. Sewell. He performed my Sleeve Gastrectomy and my experience with his office has been great. It was easy to schedule appointments. The office manager, nurse and dietitian all took time to explain everything and answer every question I had. His office manager Suzanne always responded to my emails and phone calls within minutes.

On surgery day Dr Sewell and Stacie his nurse met with me, made sure I had no further questions and kept me calm and relaxed until I was asleep. After I woke up I saw Dr Sewell a couple more times before the day was over and the following day prior to discharge he made sure to assess me and make sure I was comfortable with things. Post op, pain was well managed both during my inpatient stay and after I returned home, although I didnt need any pain medication starting about 3 days post op.

To anyone that is looking at bariatric surgery I would definitely suggest speaking with Dr. Sewell. It has continued to be a great choice on my part.

I love Dr.Sewell, his nurse Stacy and wonderful office manager,Susanne. I originally intended to go to Dr. Kim, but at the last minute changed to Dr. Sewell. It was definitely the right thing for me. The entire office is a kind welcoming facility and it is located in the same hospital where the surgery takes place. It was a very good experience!

I'm very thankful for him and his office.rnrnI had my surgery at the Masters Center in Southlake, TX and I could not have been more pleased. Dr. Robert Sewell was very attentive and caring. My GP told me about him, and after meeting with another surgeon that was awful, I got really frustrated and decided to look up Dr. Sewell's e-mail on Google and send him a letter. I got a phone call personally, from him, the following morning. He then told me he already spoke to his staff about me and that they would work me in within one week. 3 weeks later I had my surgery. He was amazing.rnrnThe hospital where I stayed was incredible and very attentive nursing staff. The surgeon, his nurse and the anesthesio (wow, nevermind, can't spell that!) came to meet me before the surgery, and all 3 spoke to my family after the surgery. The nurse called me every day for 4 days post surgery. On top of this personal attention, the surgeon and his office will keep up with me for at least one year, including support group meetings, reg. appointments with an excersize physiologist, and regular meetings with a nutritionist. All of this was included in the total cost of the surgery. It's not the type of place where you have surgery and you're out of there. They really care about your progress and your success. Dr Sewell is just about everything you could ask for. He is compassionate, encouraging, and has a staff to match. I would recommend him to anyone seeking lap band surgery. He has a 2 year program of aftercare. He also carefully screens his patients before surgery to see if they are a candidate.
