I FOUND DR Bundz to be a very caring person and after the surgery i still didnt chane my mind about him in the least he cares about everything you that is happening to you the changes you are feelingand the changes in your body now that you have had the surgery.the staff is as wonderful as he is they will answer any questions you might have the aftercare and support group are wonderful it can really be helpful to everyone how would i rate DR Bundz ELLECENT

He is very knowledgable,not in a hurry, never to many questions,office staff was very helpful,some have even had the surgery.

September 23, 2003 - I want to edit my comments on Dr. Bundz. Since going down the path I have seen him display true concern for his patients and great knowledge of the procedure. He has reinforced for me, in network or not, that he is the doctor I want working on me.

July 2003 - I had my first appointment with Dr. Bundz. He was very nice and thorough. My husband and I asked a lot of questions and he answered them patiently. His staff is very nice, however one person told me they accept my insurance, but during this second visit another secretary said they don't, so now, if I stay with him it will be out of network. I really like Dr. Bundz and feel the surgeon is very important.

They do have a mandatory after care program of 6 months, which is great and you cannot see Dr. Bundz without your support person (on the first visit) which is also a good policy.

I came from a big teaching hospital in Michigan. I have been an Operating Room nurse for 20 years and we can size up a surgeon very quickly. I have been obese on and off for most of my life and I had been thinking about Bariatric surgery. It scared me to let anyone operate on me that I didn't KNOW. I have worked with Dr. Bundz for three years and when he said that he was going to start doing laparascopic gastric bypass/Roux NY procedures I knew that I had found my surgeon. Dr. Bundz is the best Laparascopic Surgeon I have ever seen, his technique on every surgery is flawless, but he really excels in this area.
The office staff is caring, concerned and professional. Dr. Bundz' wife, Angela, is a Nurse Practioner they work together with the office staff to make a talented team. They are interested in each patient and show it.
Dr. Bundz and his staff are dedicated to your well-being before, during and after surgery. There is aftercare on a regular basis at the office and monthly support group meetings.
Dr. Bundz and his wife, Angela, are very kind and responsible people. They are just "regular folks" who are approachable and dedicated to their patients.
It says that 100% positive reviews are suspect...but I only have good things to say.

My first impression of Dr. Bundz was one of professionalism and confidence. He answered all of my questions and then some. None of his answers sounded scripted, which was very important to me. He clearly takes pride in his work. I would have no problems recommending patients to Dr. Bundz. I had my surgery on the 29th of July and Dr. Bundz came to visit me a few times post-op to make sure I was doing well. His staff is excellent and just as professional. They all took interest in my surgery and continue to put me at ease with each visit. I would rate Dr. Bundz and his staff at a 10 - no doubt! This surgery was my first and if I had to do it again, I would pick Dr. Bundz.

The first time I met Dr Bundz I found him to be extremely caring and thoughtful and exceptionally bright. 18 months later my opnion has not changed. He carefully explained everything to me about the surgury and did everything he said he would do. He took excellent care of me at the hospital and has been very helpful with my followups. I would have him do surgury again in a heartbeat.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Bundz and his office staff. He is very personable and willing to answer any question you may have. My impression has stayed the same. I still love him!

Both are wonderful. He is an excellent surgeon, no worries there, and his bedside manner with me was just as excellent. A big thumbs up!

Dr. Bundz is quiet and direct to the point. I however am a lot off the center axis. I work at the hospital I'm having surgery at and well, I checked with the people who work with him and he came highly recommended. Also my primary, pulmonologist, cardiologist, and my GYN all think very highly of him.

His office staff is the best, very friendly and very helpful. They never seemed bothered by my constant calls asking if I was approved. They all new me and my case and I never seemed to be a number.

The program at Dr. Bundz office is just getting off the ground and they are working out what works best. They are starting a support group in August. So far I just have kind of gone with the flow, but if you know me that is EXTREMELY hard.

Overall, Dr. Bundz, Angela, Jennifer, Pam, and Delores are the best. They have all stressed the importance of complience and Dr. Bundz stressed what complications he is most concerened about.

I have worked with Dr Bundz for the past year.In that year many patients and staff at Leesburg Regional Medical Center have had nothing but good words about his surgical reputation and concern for his patients. I now have that experience by being a patient. From the first time I expressed interest in the surgery Dr Bundz has been helpful in explaining the surgery and the understanding of the life change I am about to undertake. My husband attended the first consult with me, of course this was required. Dr Bundz made me feel very comfortable,(remember I do work for him!)during the physical examination. He then proceeded to explain the surgery and all the criteria involved, in his professional and of course concerned manner. He answered all of my questions and then lo and behold my husband had some questions. Ted (my husband) felt alot better after meeting with Dr.Bundz and now is even more supportive. He felt he now understands that after the surgery I won't be alone that the aftercare I will receive will give me additional support. It is a structured program and there is strict criteria. Dr Bundz'ssurgical competence is outstanding. But once again I see this everyday with his patients.
