Steven Tersigni Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

I thought he was very thorough and pleasant. He did not make me feel ashamed of being obese at all. The staff was very efficient. I'll know a lot more after the surgery. Dr. Tersigni really emphasizes your after surgery care. His aftercare program is already in place. I think his ability to make patients comfortable with the surgery and himself is as important as his performance in the operating room. I have the benefit of having a relative that has seen him at work and the results he had. He was highly recommended.

Dr. Tersigni is a wonderfully gifted surgeon who's kind, and non-judgmental.
He's now doing gastric bypass LAP, he has a wonderful follow-up program with a very informative support group with guest speakers to help you through the hard times and give you the assurance and assistance you need every step of the way. He has started his own Baratric Surgery Center here in Oregon and his assistant Robin who has also had gastric bypass understands your concerns and is a great support.
Dr. Tersigni has also worked out a special program with Bay Area Hospital, and the Anesthesiologists to make the cost of surgery reasonable and more affordable for those who's insurance won't pay.

Dr T was kind and informative. I did not feel like a big FAT SO like I do when
I go to other doctors. His staff was a concern for me as far as being weighed and talking to them. But I was surprised at how I was treated with respect and not like an out of control eating machine. One of the nurses on his staff also had the procedure so she offered first hand experience. there is a year long after care program which includes labs, office visits,and one on one time with his nurse educator if needed. He did address the risks and explained the procedure in laymans terms. I would recomend that any one with in the state of Oregon or even northern Cal or southern Washingon consider coming to the oregon coast to see him. I worked at the local hospital for 9 years in nursing and Dr T coupled with the quality nursing staff and care would be anyones best bet.

He is most wounderful surgeon that i ever meet. He is very good at what he does and he really cares for all. The staff is very informed and always so nice. nothing I have come across that i don't like about him. I will use him for all my surgeries. He has been with me the whole way with the aftercare.Yes we talked about all the risk of the surgery. He is the greatest.

I liked Dr. Tersigni immediately. He answered all of my questions openly and without hesitation. He made me feel comfortable from the start. I was given aftercare information and told what to expect after surgery. His office staff is superb. Robin answered a lot of my initial questions which was helpful because we are about the same age and she had the surgery a few years ago. Mindi worked efficiently with my insurance company and kept me informed. I was approved 1-1/2 weeks after my initial visit with my doctor. In that the doctor's office is a 3 hr drive from my home, Mindi also managed to schedule my consultation with the nutritionist before I drove home that day.

I had heard good things about Dr. Tersigni and all of them proved true. He is a very skilled surgeon who truly cares about his patients and wants them to understand any risks they may be facing with the surgery. His office staff is the best, they definitely will do whatever it takes to help you with any question or problem.

My first impression of Dr. Tersigni was good. He comes across very helpful. His office staff is wonderful, awesome, excellent. I don't have enough space to tell you how great his office staff is. ALWAYS there for me, no matter what. I think I called Nancy and Tisha 4 times within an hour and they were always happy to talk to me! Dr. Tersigni comes to some of the support group meetings and that showed me that he cares. He doesn't talk too much but that's okay. What I liked least about Dr. Tersigni was or is that my doctor visits aren't very long. I think they should be a little longer and maybe give me some more information past the 6th month mark. Overall Tersigni is great and would pick him again to perform the surgery.

This man has been doing alot of rny here and everyone is really inpressed with him. I really felt safe with him. Answered all my questions. The staff is really great, Nancy called me back one night late to talk to me. they always call back. He is a man with good morals. Everyone talks well of him.Yes he explained everything drew picturers.

Dr. Steven Tersigni was my surgeon. I found him to be extrememly willing to fight for the rights of his patients. He is a very kind man and a skilled surgeon. He is located in Coos Bay, OR.
