Terence Clarke Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

I met with Dr. Clarke on August 20, 2008. He was very nice, he answered all of my questions and concerns. He has a great personality and makes you feel very comfortable.

My first time meeting him will actually be Friday, July 11 (2008). Although I've been on Medifast for two weeks and into week three now, we've not met. Perhaps it's normal for the rest of the team to handle everything for several weeks, just to see if you are serious first? LOL, who knows?!

So far, so good! Everyone in the office is really awesome, and they have been so easy to deal with. Dr. Clarke doesn't make me feel silly for tearing up when we speak, and I always leave feeling like I'm going to be just fine.

Doctor Clarke is a very special person. he did a great job on my surgury. because of some previous surgury I had, he did not know what he was going to run into when he got inside. He took his time and did the surgury lapriscopicly which took 7.5 hours. He took the time instead of just opening me up which probably would have been easier for him but harder for me. I definitely would recommend Dr Clarke and the Ellis Hospital Bariatric Surgeons to anyone looking for a place to have the surgury. It is a very caring office where everyone is helpful in getting you to be where you need to be.

You have not me a more kind and compassionate Dr. until you've met Dr. Clarke. Are you going to feel rushed when you meet with him. Absolutely not. Is he going to answer every single one of your questions not matter how silly they may seem. Absolutely. The day of my surgery he immediately put me at ease... rnrnThank you Dr. Clarke for giving my back my life. The rest is up to me :)

He was very relaxed and informative at the seminar I attended and very pleasant at my first office visit. He spent time with me and answered all my questions and concerns. The office staff was very supportive and congenial.rnI feel Dr. Clarke was very competent and reassuring in my surgery. His bedside manner was great and he always encouraged me to ask questions if I didn't understand things.rnThe aftercare program at the Center was a bit lacking...only because according to my Nutritionist I was supposed to be taking my vitamins this past 4 weeks post op and yet the PA didn't tell me that at my 1-week post-op. I was given the impression that the vitamins and protein supplement were for later on. So I am now taking both.

When I first met Dr. Clarke he was very friendly & eager to help in any way he could. The office staff was outstanding. I was not aware that a couple nurses on staff actually had bypass at one time - i couldn't tell!. As for what I like least about him - NOTHING!. After care was amazing - he sent me down for an xray a couple hours after the banding & radiology forgot about me, until he got on their asses!rnEllis hospital works with Sunnyview Rehab and they offer a very nice range of programs & prices to fit almost any budget.rnrnI asked some pretty silly questions but was never laughed at before & after the procedure. I'd never turn back the page of time & pick a different surgeon!

Hoping to meet with my surgeon by the end of May or first week in June.rnrnrnrnrnI have to say my impression of Dr. Clarke is good, I feel he has a good bed side manner and is more intrested in his patients and if they have any concerns or questions, he even ask if any family members had any concerns or questions to make an appoinment with him to help them understand the procedure better and to feel more comfortable with what was going to happen with surgery I give him an A+ the staff is incredible with helping and giving you all the information you want and you don't feel rushed by any of the staff they give 100% so up to now I just want to say thanks to the staff at the bariatric center at Ellis Hospital.

I meet with dr. clarke and took an imediate liking to him. He is friendly and personalble. I felt at ease talking to him and his bed side manner was excellent. I had my surgery on june 26th. my wounds are healing very nicley. The staff was able to see me when i noticed that i was having increased pain in my left side right away. ( i was doing a No NO my lifting my toddler) I would strongly recomend him as his office! the support that i have recieved was amazing!
