I loved Dr Westmoreland and his staff. Everyone has been great to work with and very very supportive. Dr Westmorland answered all my questions and made both myself and my family feel totally at ease with everything. There really are no words to describe how wonderful I feel. Dr Westmoreland gave me my life back. Every step of the way his staff has provided the tools I need to be successful.

Dr. Westmoreland impressed me at the informational seminar when he said he could do the surgery but it took God to do the healing.
The day after my surgery he prayed with me for God's healing. He kept me well informed as to what I could expect. He has a very structured aftercare program. I would rate him A+++.

Dr. Westmoreland has from the beginning been a wonderful source of information and inspiration! His strong faith in the Lord truly puts him above any other doctor I have ever had! My experience with him has been nothing but completely rewarding! He goes above and beyond and every time I have the pleasure of seeing him or getting a phone call from him, it always lifts my spirits no matter how bad things may seem! My surgery went off with out a hitch, but I caught a virus that landed me in the hospital a few weeks ago. He came to visit me almost every day and if I didn't see him I received a phone call! As far as the office staff goes, sometimes the ladies that answer the phone are a little stuffy, but the nurses always call back and I love Stacey! She is so sweet and always answers any questions I can think of! Heather, the nutritionist, is wonderful as well! When I have a question she always calls me back and listens and gives the best advise! I would recommend these wonderful people to anyone considering WLS!!!! They saved my life!

Dr Westmoreland is a great doctor. I ended up with only one large incision and 2 very tiny ones, instead of the 5 that are the norm. I'm very satisfied. His office staff are super nice.

After going in for my consult/seminar my impression of Dr. Westmoreland is nothing but GREAT! He truely understand what obesity is all about. He was very willing to answer all questions and made me feel very at ease. His staff was wonderful as well. They are very informative and willing to do whatever they can to help with insurance, etc... Aftercare is big with Dr. Westmoreland..seems to be very structured. He went over all the risks of surgery. Very friendly, competent.

Dr. Westmoreland is terrific. I had him as a surgeon previously for another problem and trusted him to do my weight loss surgery. He made sure that I was well educated about all aspects of the surgery but especially the aftercare lifestyle changes that I would have to make. His entire staff is great and they are working towards getting their center of excellence accreditation.

My first impression of Middle Tennessee Bariatric Center was...Man, they are on top on their game. My first phone call to them gave me more information about what I needed to do to get approved for WLS than a previous hospital (Vanderbilt) that I had tried to work with. My whole process with MTBC took 7 months. My insurance required 6 months supervised dieting and a 10% weight lose which for me meant 30 pounds. The office staff at the siminar had a packet for each insurance provider...so from the get go...you know what they expected. They gave you a checklist and each check is another step closer to WLS. The staff followed me through each step and answered all my questions. They were also very good to me because I live 3 hours away. I can not say enough positive things about his staff.rnDr Westmoreland is great. We talked about everything that WLS would do and what it would not do and the risk. He answered all my questions and did not make me feel rushed. Dr Westmoreland puts his faith and his surgical gifts in God's hands and we prayed. We prayed several times during our meeting and we prayed along with my husband after my surgery when he came by to check on me. I am sure he prayed before but I was already knocked out. I would rate him a 10.

My first impression of Dr Westmoreland was great. I first met him in a seminar and I was really impressed with his knowledge and demenier(sp?). Before meeting Dr. Westmoreland I had went to 2 other seminars and met with 2 other doctors and for some reason I just could not commit myself to these doctors. After I met Dr. Westmoreland for the first time and at the seminar I just had a great feeling about the surgery in a whole and him as a surgeon. After my first appt with Dr westmoreland,he really just comfired the was I feel really feeling about the surgery and him as my surgeon. I felt safe and knew that I wold be in good hands, those hands being Dr. Westmoreland's and the good lord. I really believe that Dr. Westmoreland does not do a single surgery with asking the lord to stand with him and be his helping hands through out the surgery. 08-16-07 Now that I have had my surgery , I must say that I would recommend Dr. Westmoreland to anybody. I could not be mre impressed with him and his staff. He is actually doing my husbands surgery tomorrow morning aswell...

Dr. Westmoreland deeply cares about each and every one of his patients. You are not just a number with him. The office staff was very helpful and willing to help in any way they could. The aftercare program is wonderful. We have a Bariatric Support Group that meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month. rnrnI would recommend Dr. Westmoreland to anyone who is planning on having Gastric Bypass Surgery.
