Always a lover of learning, I hold two undergraduate degrees from Mississippi State University in Marketing and Human Sciences. When I decided to pursue a career as a registered dietitian, I returned to school to receive a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Mississippi. I completed a dietetic internship and masters degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. I then worked as both an inpatient and outpatient dietitian at Rush before joining Northwestern in 2009. Focusing my career to help persons who struggle with weight, I received certification in Adult Weight Management, levels 1 and 2, from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Multiple media appearances have brought me backto my initial PR roots.
