Had a couple of bad experiences with a head nurse in ICU, but other than that I was treated fairly well

The ICU was great. The nurse on 1st shift in ICU was EXCELLENT, that 3rd shift nurse had not bedside manner and seemed like it was a bother to do her job. When I went to the regular floor, you need something they do take a long time and a nurse there that i had on 3rd shift looked dirty. Her hands werer dirtly and nails not cleaned. Not good for a nurse

My Intensive Care Nurse was absolutely wonderful. When i got to the Floor the nurses were very helpful and got me everything i needed. OVerall they all were great.

The ICU nurses were awesome. I have never seen such genuine love and care that you receive from that unit. Especially a nurse named Margaret Gibbs RN. She is definitely an angel of mercy. I will never forget the love and care she gave me.

The ICU unit was excellent (Dr. Rowits requires all his patients spend the 1st night in ICU). The main floors seemed overflowing with patients and the nurses were slow to respond when I needed them. I had plenty of time to sleep without interruptions.

The ICU nurses on nights needed a few more experienced nurses as mentors. I could tell that they were very new nurses and could have used some feedback from some seasoned RNs. The nursing staff on 6 north was wonderful.

I THINK PEOPLE WHO CHOSES TO HAVE WLS SURGERY DONE SHOULD'NT HAVE TO PAY 1500.00 OR MORE BEFOR THEY CAN HAVE THE SURGERY!!!!!!!!!

Overall I would say that this hospital was equipped to care for my needs efficiently as I did not require any oversize equipment. I cannot speak for the people who were much larger than I.
