Bayshore Hospital Hospital

There are about 4 -5 rooms for bariatric patients on a floor where other patients are. This is a small facility and most of the staff was caring and professional.

The only thiing I didnt like was they didnt let my four year son come and see me. I am the only parent he has that was hard on him and me.

I was pleased with the hospital and staff. It was helpful that my nurse had also had the surgery so she knew what I was experiencing and could honestly answer questions.

The nurses at Bayshore treated me with respect and were very kind. They made my stay there very confortable.

I would not want to be cared for there if I wasn't capable of speaking up for myself.

I would refer anyone to this hospital

It was a great hospital to have my surgery at.

my bed broke while i was in the hospital and it took them almost 48 hours to get me another one, im still suffering nerve damage months later. They also "forgot" me in the hospital for 3 extra days because someone misplaced my chart or something, if id been released on time none of the "bed" incident would even have happened.

On every shift the nurse and tech's where great. They where all so sweet and helpful. It was clean and everyone was always checking in on you.

I had good and bad nurses but that is normal. I had one particularly bad problem in getting my shot for a panic attack that I had one everning. I was not scheduled for my shot until a certain time and I needed it now. I tried to explain to them that I have dealt with these for over 20 years and I know what I am asking for to help me but they held firm and I suffered. I spoke to my doctor and from them on it was fine and they were very helpful. Please understand that it was NOT a bad hospital or that I would never go there again. I and the doctor dropped the ball about the medical problem that I have to deal with. I would go there again if needed.
