I met with Dr Husted on 4/18/oo. He is very personable.
Also young. He listened to every word I said
and I did not feel like he was rushing out of my office.
My weight at hius office was 27o with a bmi of 42.
He said I was a good candidate for this surgery bacause
I am young and in relatively good health besides my aches
and pains. I have chronic back problems. He said I should
expect to hear from him in 6-8 weeks as he was writing my
PCP and insurance company and he would need to hear back f
from them before his office contacted me. All in all I was
left with a feeling of hope! He gave me a tip: call my insurance
company in about 2 weeks and see what my status is. Sometimes
a case can get "stuck" or neglected.
