I was regularly evaluated by Pt and They even have a board where they give you the portable phone number for your aid and nurse to call them directly.

I believe that is hospital has a problem with infection. Sometimes the nurses didn't change their gloves, to keep ME clean... I did complain about this problem.

The nursing staff was very caring and respectful. They were there to help for anything. But didn't disturb if I was sleeping.

Chapman was very prepared to assist me after my gastric-bypass as they work very closely with the Coastal Center for Obesity. I loved the nurses, they were respectful, helpful, they listened, and they responded. I can only say good things about Chapman!

I am in awe with the quality of caring staff that Chapman Medical Center employs. They are large enough to be able to care for their patients, but small enough to have a "culture of caring" which they are able to instill in all of their employees. I highly recommend this hospital!!

I loved my nurse Mary. She was soo great. She was there waiting on me all the time giving me medications, and support!

The staff there (all except for one tech from the lab) were wonderful. Several had gone through WLS themselves, and were very open answering questions and giving of support. The nurse I had in ICU was the best and she even went out of her way to bring me chapstick for my super dry mouth/lips LOL
