Coliseum hospital Hospital

For the most part all hospital staff (from doctors to housekeeping) were very helpful, very caring and and very accommodating... except for one night shift nurse. This one nurse didn't appear to be very competent, nor was she very nice. However, once I reported her to the nursing supervisor that seemed to improve. And, the next night I had a different nurse.

As with all hospital, you get good nurses and not so good nurses. I had I nurse that had more interest in going to lunch than she did in getting me transfered to my floor room. I also had a discharge nurse who instead of taking the tape off of my iv needle, just pull needle tape and all in one motion then told me my hand would bleed to keep it above my heart. BUT the other 6 nurses, respiratory, lab, nurse's assistants and x-ray people were all kind, and concerned for my well being.
