Coliseum hospital Hospital

Having an upper GI endoscopy here was a wonderful experience. The staff was very professional and on top of things. Good experience so far. Went to the hospital for all the preop stuff - blood work, EKG, respiratory training, talk with anesthesia. It was a breeze. Everyone at the hospital has been so professional and caring. I have heard some horror stories about hospitals and the treatment they give to MO patients. I am so glad my hospital, Coliseum Hospital in Macon Georgia, is not that way. I mean they cater to the bariatric surgeons in every way possible. I think they know that this is the future of "bread and butter" elective procedures even though we know that once you reach the point of actually having WLS you have exhausted all other avenues and it is no longer an elective situation. I think this hospital's goal is to educate the people of Middle Georgia that they take this medical disease seriously. So far I have been very impressed with the care I have received.
