Crestwood Medical Center Hospital

I first met Dr. Foreman in August 2007 at a seminar given by him and his collegue Dr. Facundus. There was alot of drama and confusion due to a change in my insurance shortly after the seminar. I thought I was going to have to use another surgeon, but Dr. Forman saved the day so to speak! It was a blessing that he was able to hear of my situation and offer assistance.rnrnMy first visit with him was the first that I walked out of feeling better about my decision instead of more nervous and confused! He did not try to change my mind about the surgery I chose; he just told me the facts. I love to joke and make people laugh, but he was a tough crowd! All business... but he answered all of my questions with patience & confidence. The surgery center is expanded by the Bariatric Wellness Institute which offers full service pre & post operative support including a nutritionist. The office manager with whom I have worked on my insurance approval is very patient and helpful, as is his nurse. I am excited about my journey and *so* glad to have Dr. Foreman & his team to help me along the way!

Dr. Suggs is very professional. He takes time to answer your questions. I just wish he used another hospital. I was not that thrilled with the after care in the hospital. Other than that I am pleased.

I had an advantage over most people who are searching for a surgeon. I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Mailapur and see his work literally from the inside out. So when my family physician mentioned the procedure to me as an option, I already had a Surgeon in mind. My impression of him has not changed over time. It has remained constant. I believe that his attitude toward me has not changed, therefore my attitude toward him has not changed. He still remains a close friend and is genuinely concerned about my well being. His office staff was in a transition period when I started seeing him. However Bridgette has been wonderful throughout the whole ordeal. I think that the thing I like most about him is that he has a genuine concern for his patients. Not just about the surgery but about your quality of life. He will be with you for the long haul. Aftercare is very important to him. He has a support group available. He is very well rounded in his bedside manner and surgical competence. I think that both of these are very important.

I met with my surgeon on Wednesday, April 9th. My husband and I were very pleased with Dr. Foreman. He went over the surgery, the risks as well as the benifits. I feel very confident in him and would recommend him to anyone. The Office Staff were friendly and very helpful. I am looking forward to having my surgery as soon as Dr. Foreman gets all my test reports back.

It has been 6 months since my gastric bypass surgery and i have done great! I have lost 68lbs. Dr.Mailapur and his staff where great! He is a great doctor! When I first meet him at his seminar he was very informative about the surgery and answered all of my questions. His staff was great helping me with my insurance and questions pre op and post op. I would highy reccomend him to anyone!

Dr. Mailapur is such a sweet man. He is so knowledgeable in the field of medicine and he has a great bedside manner. The office staff is so caring and curteous. They all want the best for you. Dr. Mailapur is an experienced surgeon and you really know that you are in caring, sincere hands!! He is great!! Give him a try. I had only the best results.

Dr. Mailapur was the second surgeon I went to. The first one was also in Huntsville, AL. The first doctor I was only a paycheck to. Dr. Mailapur is the best doctor I have ever been to EVER. He wanted to make sure I had a good support group. At one of my visits he ask about my children and one of them was waiting in the waiting room. Before we left Dr. Mailapur went to the waiting room and introduced himself to my son. I also love his staff they are really concerned about you. The helped me with all my insurance questions and my concerns seemed to be their priority. When I went to the hospital to have surgery they took really good care of me. He had his own mini staff for the surgery. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. He does everything possible to have the least amount of complications during surgery. I had two IV's and he took really good care of me. He also request that from now on.... for the rest of my life.... I am to check up with him yearly. The only problem I had with any of my surgery or my hospital stay was on my first meal at the hospital they gave me surgar in my jello. It made me a little sick. (This is my own opion of my experience with the hopital and with Dr. Mailapur and his staff. I feel they are the best. This again is my opion and my experience with them.)

I work at the hospital where Dr. Mailapur does surgery. I also knew several people who had their surgery done by him. They all did well. One of his patients inspired me to have surgery. Dr. Mailapur is an excellent physician. I enjoy working with him on the surgery units. He is very likable and a people person. After attending his seminar, I knew this surgery was for me. He explained everything we needed to know. After the seminar, he talked with every person who attended. He has an aftercare program that meets once a month, and he attends unless he is working. He also expects you to follow his instructions if you are accepted for surgery. You are given all the information you need to have to make an informed decision regarding the surgery and the aftercare.rnAfter surgery, he and his nurse came by daily, and sometimes more often. He addressed all concerns. His office staff were very kind and helpful. He and his staff are excellent at what they do.
