My first impression of Dr. Foreman was that he is very professional and did not leave me waiting for hours...he was on time!

My impression has not changed...he seems to be a true professional.

Foreman's staff is very friendly!

The aftercare program is explained to you in the book that is given to you before surgery and you can call the office or BWI if there are any questions that the book does not answer.

Dr. Foreman did address the risks of the surgery to me and he even explained the deaths that had occured.

I would give Foreman a high rating...I think he did a good job and has always been very kind and caring to me!

My pre-op and registration process was more than wonderful and would have rated this hospital highly but the post care was horrific. Words can not express my fear for anyone staying at this hospital without family members being present. In my heart I feel as though I would have died if I closed my eyes. I was denied medication and use of the bathroom for 9 hours. I was stuck with the same dirty needle and alcohol swab 6 times. My leg pumps to prevent blood clots were either left off constantly or refused to be turned on. I was told that I had a heart attack and I called my sister to come at 3am. She said I collasped on the bed when I saw her because I had just told the nurse that I would not close my eyes until the shift changed and I meant that. This hospital needs to take a serious look at developing a gastric bypass "floor" because I was stuck on the orthepedic floor and they said I was too much trouble for them. So my overall rating of this hospital is if I am going to die let me die at home and not with a stuck up nurse that thinks it is more important to do charts than to administer care to a patient that has undergone major surgery.
Ollie Green ~ very pissed but glad to be alive to tell the story

The moment that I met with Dr. Mailapur, I know right then that he was the only surgeon for me. He is a very thorough and compassionate doctor. He was always available to answer any questions that I had or any questions that my husband had. He is a firm believer in aftercare. I was his first patient at Huntsville Hospital. His follow-up care is great. He believes in a lifelong relationship between his patients and him. He is a firm believer in aftercare. As he said, surgery is only a tool and you choose how to use it. He encourages his patients to join a gym and become physically fit before and after surgery. I would rate him on a scale of 1-10, most definitly a 10. I strongly recommend him to anyone who is interested in bariatric surgery. He made me feel so at ease about surgery that I wasn't even nervous about it.

The meeting with Dr. Foreman went really well. I felt like he was very imformative and he was willing to answer all of my questions. He described in detail how he would do the procedure. He also explained the risk as well as the benefits of the surgery. I was really nervous at the beginning, but after meeting Dr. Foreman I felt alot better about my decision to have WLS. Dr. Foreman's office staff has been great so far. I feel pretty confident choosing Dr. Foreman as my surgeon.

DR. FOREMAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL,EXPLAINED ALL ASPECTS OF WLS IN DETAIL, THE RISKS, THE STRUCTURED AFTERCARE, ETC. HIS STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. BUT THERE IS A POINT WHERE YOU HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROVIDING THE REST OF THE DOCUMENTION. IF YOU NEED ADDITIONAL TESTS AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH DOCTORS FAXING REPORTS, YOU NEED TO STAY ON THIS TO MAKE SURE THE RIGHT PAPERWORK IS GETTING WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE. IT CAN GET CONFUSED AND NO ONE IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF YOU AS WELL AS YOU CAN. DR. FOREMAN RATES HIGHER ON TECHNICAL COMPETENCE, AND FOR ME THAT IS MOST IMPORTANT IN A SURGICAL SITUATION. OVER THE REST OF MY LIFE THE SUCCESS OF THE 2 HOURS IN SURGERY WILL MATTER A GREAT DEAL MORE THAN THE 2 HOURS I HAVE SPENT TALKING WITH THE DOCTOR.

Crestwwod is top of the line. Between the many tests, outpatient services, and this last surgery, I can't begin to tell you how much both my husband and I really like Crestwood.

Anytime we visit someone in the hospital, the first thing we do upon entering, is start comparing it to CMC. Crestwood sets the bar on which all others should be measured.

I had a very pleasent experience. My mom and husband got a little aggrivated because they didn't tell them when I was going in surgery and didn't let them know how I was. It was confusing.
