I believe that on the administrative level they have all the best intentions. The care providers were very clueless.

This Hospital is still to new at doing these surgerys. give it another year or two.

During my pre-op my nurse was commenting on how impressed they were with the surgeon I had and the over-all direction the hospital itself had taken toward supporting WLS patients. All of the care I recieved before, during and after surgery totally backed up all of it. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering the band.

The nurses seemed poorly prepared for WLS. They did not walk me or deep breathe. I had times I was delirious and was just left alone.

I was the first patient to have this surgery as an out patient there. Everyone wanted to make sure it was a sucess.
