It's a beautiful clean hospital. Most of the workers are very friendly and helpful, but like in any hospital the nurses could be a little more quick to respond.

I felt very comfortable at Hackensack. The Nurses were fantastic all shifts. The took very good care of me. And were always sure I was in no pain.

The day shift and afternoon shift was great the graveyard shift(sorry about that),I called for over two hours, just to use the rest room. Glad I did not really need them!

other than after the fact that my doctor discharged me. Then it took 4 HOURS, to be discharged by the staff. It was ok.

I thought the hospital was great and the nursing staff on our floor was great minus one particular nurse. She was very rude and non-accomodating. HOWEVER, Miriam (nurse on 3) is absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! She was great and very patient!

Two days after surgery, I had a severe asthma attack. The nurses and pulmonary services were right there, and stayed with me until it was under control.
