The staff was rude and totally non assertive. i HAD TO HITCHHIKE back from xray because transport lefyt me there for an hour. When I came back I was so ill I almost passed out and if my Dr.was not there I would have died. I ended up recieving a transfusion and being put back on bedrest.

They need nurses!!! I had alarms going off in my room for over an hour before anyone would come in to shut them off. It was horrible. The nurses were nice, when they were there. Thank God I was only there for 2 1/2 days.

the nursing care is substandard and ineffective for any patient in a post op situation, the bathroom are small as well as the semi private rooms. as a nurse myself i can attest that i have never seen poorer patient care in my 16 year career !!!!!!!!!!!

THe ICU nurses were much more competant than the regular floor nurses were. IE: I had to tell one of the regular nurses on the floor to use gloves when changing my 10 inch wide open wound.

I was not impressed with the hospital at all. When they were prepping me for surgery everything was great, but on they rolled me into recovery the Hell started! I was in recovery without any pain meds for over an hour. They take you out on a flat hard bed and I layed there for 6 HOURS! Needless to say I was not happy, they said they didn't have a room for me and one wasn't available so I had to wait. Why do I have to wait when my surgery has been schedualed for almost 2 months ahead. Also they are remodeling the hospital and you know when you are in pain you want it quiet and able to sleep, but I didn't get either. There was jack hammer going to WHOLE 6 hrs. I was in there. So ever time I dosed off I would be awoken to a jack hammer I sucked! The nurses were slow to respond when you hit you call button, if they even show up! I was glad to get out of there!

Could have been a tad bit cleaner and shower stalls were tiny and they had problems finding me a gown to fit.
