Kaiser Fremont Medical Center Hospital

My first impression of Doctor Hahn is that he was very personable but a very busy man. The office staff were absolutely fabulous. So personable. That is all I can say about him so far.

I really liked him from the minute I met him. He seemed like a very sweet person.

My first impression of him was great. I was really shocked to see him so often in the hospital checking on us. Overall I would rate him a 10 out of 10.

Dr. Dutta was the surgeon who spoke at my orientation on July 31st...I was impressed with him then and even MORE impressed after meeting with him on September 9th...he is straightforward yet approachable...and his explanation of the surgery and risks and answers to my questions/concerns gave me that feeling of confidence that I am doing the right thing...he and the staff I met with at the consult (nutritionist, anesthesiologist, surgery coordinator, and medical assistants)were all very pleasant and comfortable to talk with...more comments to come following surgery!

I was treated well. I got everything I needed and wanted in a timely manner. The staff answered any and all questions and treated my husband well.

My first impression of Dr. Dutta was just a sense of comfort. He was very easy to talk to and answered all questions. He is very warm and "down to earth". The office staff is very helpful and caring. They were very happy for the new life I am about to have. I feel that Kaiser has a strict policy to follow for good reason. They require a lot of education prior to surgery, however that is very important when someone is changing their whole life. I would give Dr. Dutta and his staff 10 out of 10!! I have no complaints whatsoever!!

Very personable, took his time and answered all of my questions and I feel very comfortable with him. I met the other two surgeons at Fremont, Dr. Dutta and Dr. Dennen whom I also liked very much. I would feel comfortable with any of them and they were all very personable and seem to be very caring and commmited to this program. They have a complete program, before and after, including a support group that meets on site at Kaiser-Fremont, which meets twice monthly. They all seem to have a pretty good track record judging by all of the patients that show up for the support group and I am confident that they are excellent surgeons.

Very impressive. Right from the start he was truthful and stated the facts of the risk we are taking. My husband who was not for the surgery went with me to orientation and he felt very good afterwards. He was very impressed with Dr Dutta. His staff, Nancy the project coordinator is very help full and Kathleen the scheduler is very nice. Kaiser has a very structured waiting period and many levels that you must go through before approval as well as after approving your surgery. You have time and knowledge of the risks and life changing behavior habits. I feel totaly safe and assured that I will be just fine during surgery. I would rate Dr Dutta the highest rating, and I haven't even had my surgery yet (3/28).
4-16-05 Now that my surgery is over with, I can say that Dr Dutta is outstanding in his field. I even asked him durning my post-op appt if he would do the Hernia repair surgery that I will need, and he told me yes he would do it. I have no worries what so ever now, I will be in god gifted hands. I am so happy he will continue helping me.

Dr Dennen was great he explained everything fully and was more than willing to explain anything I had questions about. I would definately recomend him to any Kaiser patients in the area
