Because i was in the very first group of lap band patients there was a little uncertainty from staff on how to treat me as opposed to the RNY patients and that made me nervous at times because they showed lack of knowledge. Overall though they did thier best and made me feel as comfortable as possible and I would rate them as good.

My first impression of Dr. Hahn was that he was a very caring doctor an was going to do the very best with my surgery, as a result I felt completely at ease. My impression of Dr. Hahn never changed. Dr. Hahn never rushes you. He makes sure all of your questions are answered before you leave, I really like that. Dr. Hahn explained all the risks of surgery completely. Dr. Hahn is in my opion an excellent surgeon. I didn't have any complications. Dr.Hahn's surgical competence and bedside manner are both excellent. Dr Hahn office staff are very friendly and helpful.

My surgeon, the nursing staff and the entire hospital staff was wonderful. It was more like a vacation. I was treated with the utmost respect and consideration. I would recommend it to anyone.

I first met Dr. Dennen at the Orientation. Very nice man. He Made sure all of our questions were answered before anyone left. I was going to request him but was assigned to him by luck of the draw. When I met him in his office he was very friendly and attentive to my replies. He made me feel like he had all day just to talk to me. Even though I knew he was behind in seeing patients. I don't mind waiting if I know I will get the same respect when it is my turn. I know Dr. Dennen will do a great job!rnrnWell here I am 3 days post op. Dr. Dennen was everything I thought he was and more. I felt absolutley no pain at all in the hospital. A little soreness at home but not enough for meds. Dr. Dennen is such a kind, considerate, caring person I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. His bedside manor and his competence are both outstanding! Thank goodness, I found him!

Overall, pretty good. Of all the different nurses I had in the 2 days I was there, only one was "wasn't on their game". All the others were great.

What a wonderful doctor. He taught my orientation class and I was really impressed from that day forward. There is no doubt that he wants to help the obese to lose weight and become healthy. I strongly recommend him.rn11/3/06 - Now that I am post-op, I absolutely adore this man. He has this incredible bedside manner. I was at ease the whole time and felt very, very, very safe in his care!! rnAgain, I strongly recommend him to anyone in the Bay Area that is looking for a good, qualified bariatric surgeon.

My husband and I have been extremely impressed with the thourough preparation and professionalism of both Dr. Dutta and his staff. We had to travel 6 hours each way for appointments and they worked with us on scheduling, and they were always on time. The surgery went amazingly well, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care and treatment. They were informative, up front about possible complications, and strict about our responsibilites before and after the surgery. I would rate him as absolutely fantastic!

The first night, I really didn't know it becuase I was so druged up, but my mom, God Bless Her, had to sleep in a very uncomfortable chair and the nurses were SO loud talking and such. The second night, they were not loud at all, and they let mom bring in a blow up matress, I thought that was cool.
