The Staff was concerned, kind & professional from the moment I arrived. Gowns that actually fit! Complete explanations regarding the surgery, what to expect after surgery, what was expected of me. This is the place to be for by-pass surgery!!!

The hospital stay was was excellent and comfortable. Each and every staff member including volunteers, aids, nurses, surgeons etc were kind, considerate and concerned about how you were feeling and what they could do for you.

Staff was great - very kind and helpful from the admittance clerk thru to the guy who wheeled me out to the curb at check out.

Dr. Lamar is a wonderful, competent man & my new hero. He made me feel at ease right from the first moment I met him. His staff is very knowledgeable & extremely sensitive to the needs of MO people. He gave me all of the risks & benefits in a clear manner that didn't scare me but let me know what was going on. He is my new hero.

I did not encounter one person at the hospital that was unpleasant. Everyone was available to me & my needs were responded to in a very timely manner. The staff was courteous & knowledgeable. I had a wonderful experience at this hospital.

Everyone at this hospital is super nice! They nurses on the 3rd floor have all been inserviced on bariatric surgery and totally are on top of everything.

When I entered the office of Dr. Troy Lamar for the very first time, I felt very comfortable. The nurses at the front desk had beautiful welcoming smiles and well informed answers to all of my questions.
My waiting time to meet Dr. Troy Lamar was minimal, as well as the forms that I needed to fill out.
My first impression of Dr. Lamar was positive. He greeted me with a smile and explained everything about the operation in detail. He used visuals, like diagrams to further explain the internal reconstruction of the stomach. He took his time to explain each step of the operation and mentioned some of the after effects of the procedure.
Dr.Troy Lamar is a very personable man, shows compassion, warmth and also mixes his work with lots of humor.

The nursing staff is the greatest and everyone is so surportive and what makes it even better is many of the saff have had the surgery and they come and talk to you and tell you their experiences. They are so very encouraging that you know you won't fail no matter what.
