The whole staff at North Hills was great. Everyone that I came in contact with was so sensative to me as a young overweight patient. The whole nursing staff in the Bariatric wing were absolutly outstanding. They made sure that I understood everything that was going on, and ensured my comfort every step of the way. The bariatric wing has private rooms too, it was very nice and relaxing after surgery.

The Staff were GREAT, except for one and there is always one.... the rooms and the bathrooms WERE NOT obese friendly at all. There were NO adaptive or large sized chairs, showers, shower seats or anything. It was a regular room, no special consideration to the obese and NO bariatric beds at all. This place was not equiped correctly for the obese. While it was okay... if a person is seriously overweight, they will need to have them order special equipment. There was no comfotable place to sit in the rooms for either me or my overweight husband.... I could not wait to get out of there and get home. Also the nurtitionist at NH Hospital do not seem to have very much training re: followup of WLS patients... I knew more from reading nutritional information on this site than THEY knew.

Excellent caring, compassionate nursing staff. The nurses were wonderfull, and very good.

All in all, I'd have to give it a top rating due to the nurses and staff. They never made me feel anything but special and I will be forever grateful.

The beds were made for larger patients and so were the gowns. It was a large cheerful room with a private bath and T.V. I also had a recliner to sit in and put my feet up.

Everyone I came in contact with at the hospital was the best and made me feel welcome. I took them some cookies for Christmas. I wish it could have been more.

The staff at this hospital is rated a 10. They are the most friendly and professional of all. Just about anything I asked for , I got!

Well I had the Best dy nurse ever Her name was Hortence and she is wonderful and very caring, she was to perfect the hosptial really needs mnore nurses like her.
Al the nurses were ok but really didnt seem to try to help it was like I was being a pain , but Hortence was wonderful.
There was one night nurse that was good to but i cant remeber her name

Some of the 2nd shift staff def. needs another class on bedside manner and answering the nurse button and pages.
